I have always thought that int hybrids needed at least 80% int to do real dmg, but after reading several hybrid guides ALL of them said that the 3:1 int hybrid is very strong

So i thought 3:1 must get me somewhere around 80% int naked but instead i found it to be only 73%

So now im very confused help pl0x

I've also heard 1:3 int hybrid is good, also 1:2, but screw that, 1:2 are weaker than hell.

My buddy on KSRO is 1:3 int hybrid (dual weapons too :S). He's pretty good, but I've never seen him pvp.

I'm not dual weapons though (But I usually open up with spear nuke + ghost spear (even though my heuksal is only lv 20 )).

1:3 int hybrid is only 73% naked balance, idk that just seems a lil low

80% is a bit more than 1:4 cause 1:4=79%

73% is 2:1

79% is 3:1

85% is 5:1

4:1 is somewhere inbetween

well imo 80% is low.. cause i think the purer the better. So 85% should be the lowest you would even concider.. but then again..i'm no hybrid int expert.

85% is the minimum IMO and its for spears (unless u hv a godly Sun sword at 64 or a gd sword 72)
sword 90% is fine

What 73% that's only 1 % higher than my int 2:1 hybrid.

spear can go lower mag bal like SG did(70% naked), sword need higher balance..alot higher...maybe 83% above...

but it is also nice to have high balance for spear ull suck less blue(STR/INT)

im almost pure int and my mag balance naked is like 90 %
Anyway, my friend is pure int, we are same lvl, and he got better weapon then me, but i do as much damage as him with same skills ^^

Well, int hybrids are tricky to deal with, you dont' really need to follow the 1:2 ~ 1:5 builds, you could just do a unique hybrid like me. It's working out great. Naked my balances aren't the best, but you gotta take to heart that int hybrids are heavily dependent on alchemy. If you're going S/S you want a lot more int than if you went spear. At low lvls you'll be weak, but you'll get stronger around lvl42+

With my gear I have a 81% mag balance and my nukes do great dmg. I've ended up adding around 45-47 str overall, and I'm still good as a nuker. Through my exp. you wanna have well into 8x~9x mag balance if you wanna deal any real dmg with a hybrid, so aim to get that if you want your build to be worth anything.

imo aswell, though personally i would take spear as a
hybrid anyway. i wouldnt want to lack too much dmg.

1:3 sword is great, I figure dual weps works out well... But I'm not gonna risk it just yet.

Well the mag damage lost in a really steep hybrid build like 70% is made up by the crap load of str you added.
