1. What kind of skill should i take?

i would go pure str for a fire/bow. it's a powerful combination, and all your skills will be physical in nature. as far as skills, i'm not a bow user, but i would recommend your combos (3-arrow, etc) and anti-devil bow, and a few others. maybe a bow user can jump in and make corrections/suggestions?

As far as the bow skills, I would definitely max; Anti bow, Combos, Berserk, White bird, Strong Arrow, and the Passive(last skill).

For Fire skills, I would actually try to max all except the nuke and fire wall.

It takes a lot of sp to max all that, so plan ahead with a little bit of sp farming early on.

well im actually a little experienced, i was an ice int bow..
for the weapon skills antidevil bow IS A MUST, the crits are beautiful
im not too sure about the arrow combos, the main point of arrow combo is to get more imbue hits in which comes in handy only as ice..
you should get the hawk summoning, buffs are always handy
autumn wind you can get if you want.. but its more sp to farm for..
berserker is definitely because it looks cool and the splash damage is nice, the single damage is nice as well
strong bow, its a nuke, self explainitory.. and same goes with passive..

now for fire.. i dont have too much experience with it but i know enough what the skills do..
imbue, of course youre gonna need that..
flame body wisdom, and passive are good but thast all i know..
no point getting fire nuke because youre not int based.. and thast all i can help you with in fire..

I wouldn't level bezerker arrow, I don't think it is that much effective unless you have 5+ mobs on you. Anti-Devil and Strong bow ftw! the arrow combo's are great for freezing, idk about fire. Also, upgrade white hawk and get black hawk.

well, lets look at this logically..
with out berserker arrow then you would have only anti devil bow as an offensive weapon.. assuming that you dont have arrow combos or autumn wind..
so that means when fighting, anti devil bow, imbue.. and just keep hitting.. until you can launch another anti devil bow.. but its always good to have weapons at hand

I was also assessing by build as well. I think it will help if the skill in increased defense against magic and the increased damage (passive).

I also used lighting buff (to decrease opponent's dodge rate). I'm not sure but when The enemy is electrically shocked, my hits tend to skew to the upper extreme of my damage range. Then I use the fire buff. I think if using the lightning buff compliments the white hawk (what I mean is, the more you increase your attack rating while decreasing your enemy's dodge rate, your inflicted damage goes skews to the upper extremes.

I also observed one thing for bow-users - Fire works better for bows complimented by lightning. Ice is also great, for it provides better defense (Ice glass - you are surrounded by ice, which abosrbs physical attack, while you can attack through it at the same time). If this skill is maximized, sword / glaive users will have a harder time against bow users.

Correct me if I am wrong, but here is how I assess the forces for bow users:

ICE = strong defense
FIRE = strong offense
LIGHTNING = buff

I am planning to build a second archer (STR/ICE/LIGHTNING) so I can see the difference for myself.

As a 57 (almost 58 ) pure strength bow user.

Dont max strongbow.

Get it but keep it at level 1. Delevel it once you acquire the 3rd book of anti devil.

Max Anti devil/Arrow combo series.

Max berserker arrow for the potential level 68 skill that will be a bread and butter attack for archer (if you can make it there ^^)

Why Strong Bow? It is the best attack other then anti-devil

Delay of strongbow is like 6 seconds.

A nuker or strength user will either kill you or stop strong bow from even going off.

Trust me. Strong bow is only helpful .. i wouldnt even say "good" in pvm until you can get the 3rd book of anti devil. And 3rd book of berserker arrow attacks twice as fast gives attack rating and has higher damage than lvl 9 strong bow maxed book 2.

Also... LAWL to any1 who uses strong bow on uniques that are around your level or against isyutaru. If you get the last hit then strong bow good luck canceling your attack. The spawns will mob then own you

When your ice that delay goes down, but idk bout fire. It isn't even 6 seconds, more like 3.
