First i'd like to thank all of you who are replying to this thread
I have a level 14 pure int. Currently im a lvl 14 archer/spear (i change occasionally) and the only skill i have is the level 5 fire imbue (river fire force lvl 1).
Im planning on a pure int fire/lightning nuker, and so its either a sword/shield or a spear. I have read into both these build options but im still undecided.
I have farmed from 1-6, then brought my fire, heuksal and lightning up to lvl 5 and carried on grinding. At level 14 i brought this down to an 8 level gap.
So im grinding at an 8 level until lvl 16 where i will do a 9lvl gap grind and then once i level, im delevelling and doing lvl16 to lvl17 again in skill point farming. Only once, its kind of a compromise between Korean gameplay and that guide written here.
I will use the bow/spear until lvl 16, but at lvl 16 i will choose my weapon for the rest of my character.
But which?
Sword and shield or spear?
Is there a difference in my nuke damage?
Obviously the shield offers more defense which is necessary.
But i might kill quick enough with spear....
