Pure Strength is the better IMHO, and afaik a pure intelligence archer is either impossible / highly unstable.
Pure Strength Fire is one of the best ways to go with bow, but thats just my opinion. Take the fire-body series, the passive, maybe fire protection, and the imbue. For bow take maybe the second book of the multi-aroow combo, the whit bird, the passive, and the range extending active skill.. w/e the hell its called. Oh, and whatever the one arrow is that takes like 3 - 4 seconds to charge and does aoe dmg.
