Hello Demon,
Str-Blade=Slow leveling, doesn't die, and weak damage

Str-Glaive=Fast leveling, occasionally dies, stronger damage vs. blade

Fire elements yes, but some people choose ice for status effects, not that much people are immune so ice isn't that bad.

Blade- Knock down skills, knock down attack skills, chains
Glaive-SSM, Mars, Chains, Jade is arguable

Well, the spear throwing one is mostly for running enemies but you can compensate with the lightning dash skill. Chains are used to train, but also are effective in pvp. I suggest getting only the 5 hit combos for blade, or the 6 hits for spear, since those are the most effective. If you want to get the other combos either for the look or for inflicting status feel free to do so.

They both have trouble killing each other, but as of now the most popular seems to be the pure str fire glaive.

Blade is best in pvp, but levels SOOOO slow that most people don't choose it.
Fire glaive is overused, but good nonetheless.

Best idea (Though costly) is to level to cap with glaive, and then rellocate heuksal to bicheon either using cursed heart quest or silk.
