Help with Fire/Blade build!

Hey all, I'm fairly new to Silkroad and I need some more help! I've figured out the basics of the game [leveling, skills, gearz and all that] but now I need some further help.

I'm currently building my lvl 10 Fire/Blade, but I want to make a really strong [pure str], fast character and I don't want to make mistakes. Is there any way to increase my attack speed? Which weapons attack the fastest? Do the 3 groups of armor effect your dodge/speed? As well, what series of skills should I ignore?

Anyways, I'm not a fire/blader, but there's Fly's top 4 guides in character skills section that talks about a fire/blade. Also, many other ppl hav asked the question. So u can go read their posts. Blade is already one of the fastest weapons. U can use chain attacks to hit multiple times really fast. Yes, the defense items affect ur dodge/speed. Armor gives the best defense, protector gives medium defense and 10% speed bonus and 10% mana use reduction, and garment gives low defense(but high magical defense) and 20% speed bonus and 20% mana use reduction.

there is no way to increase attack speed, but there are ways to slow your opponent down

attack rating on weapons = attack speed. so the higher your attack rating the faster you hit.

no ur wrong. the higher the attack rating, the higher ur average hit will be. You know how you have a specified range for your attack power, if your attack rating is higher than the parry ration of your enemy, then your hits will be more in the upper range of your attack power. (and the opposite is true as well)

I'm going thief with blade/fire and I'm gonna go with cloth armor for the speed increase. Are there any skills that increase ASPD? Is there any skills I should stay away from or definitely get?

And for you who say read the other posts, I have :banghead:

. I've read and searched through many posts but I wasn't been able to find what I was looking for. When I post a new thread I get the ablity to ask questions after getting the answers I need rather then doing lots of pointless searching when I could be leveling

i think someone stated b4, but here it is again. The speed that you attack is always the same its a fixed speed for each weapon type. U can't change it (at least that i know of).
