In your opinion what build beats pure str glavie at higher levels(70-80) in pvp?

int hybrid sword, i think, i just hate the knock down... they got 3 books of knock down

str blade,str bow,int hybrid , int depends on gear and weapon

str/blade/fire will own everyone , but hardest build but im till going with it and farming at 42 its hard

for str blade, lv 16 fully farm is a must(not sure about pure int)......u dont have to trust me, but u will see the pain later....farm at lv16 is crazy fast, especilly u can 1 hit kill archers.......

Its all about gears but imo
Int based Builds i.e Pure and Hybrid everything else doesnt hit hard enough,

any build with SOSUN, and good dueling strategy

Many people say that you need to farm, but the truth is, you just need to make a good strategy and you don't have to farm at all. That is like, everyone is following a trend that someone started once and now everyone is like: oh when will I farm? OMG i got no farming at 16, can be higher than 20 without farming? and such s**t.

You don't need to farm!!!

If you make some math, what I did for my build, at the end, playing with a 5 gap all the way (seems hard, but you just need to have to will) and you can have ~296.000 SP at lvl 80. For my build that is 50k more that I need and also from lvl 73 you go 1 or 0 gap!

only thing that can touch pure str glavie @ 80 is pure str glavie w/ better gear & weap.

At 70-80 int hybrid.

At lower levels int hybrid sword.

I beat pure str every time, especially glaive.

I ALWAYS beat pure str glaive.

The only hard build to beat is pure str blade (And bow, but only ones with sos can kill me).

Well today, it took 2 nukers one of which had mercs, they were both 2 levels under me. ( im 73)

all these nukers make me kinda laugh

everybody is saying: no pure str beats me blah blah blah

ye, i'm pure str glav :p but if i pvp, i just win easily from hybrids (2-3 hits needed) and pure int (1-2 hits needed)

unless they are like more then 3 lvl's higher they do enough damage to take me down :p

and i don't got pimped gear, only a +3 glavie

Hybrid int spear in armor will win over pure str glavie right?

I have a problem... At the start of the game.. i puted some points on INT. And there were 9 of this points added to int.

Now my phys. balance is 92% (wich my friend says it's bad and it's sort of a hybrid), my HP is 3388 .. and i'm lvl 36.

So tell me guys.. is it so bad? I wanted a pure str glavier, but at the start those points went to int.. after that, every point went on STR!

Tell me what's your opinnion and how to fix that.. (becide blues equipment) or will it sorta fix itself in the time i level and put all to str? And even if it doesnt fix's, is the build so bad? I have heksual + fire and secundary light, for speed 'n some stuff.. I'm just scared somehow with this balance thing..

well instead of doing your farm at once you are just farming all the time while you level
its a choice there are faster ways to level and that is by
1: rushing to cap start farming or
2: farm at den 0 gap to cap.
3: gap all your way to the cap.

ontopic any build that knows how to play his char can win the sun (good gear) might help but somehow way too many guys dont know how to pvp properly (not using firewalls, shield when being kd, vigors, ghost walk and so on) the average pvp: get the biggest pots you can, set your autopot on 99% and smash 12345 as fast as you can

let me tell you this lvls 20-70 bladers pwn every build glaives comes very close but at 80 cap glaive is untouchable just wait for the 90 cap all those ints saying they pwn str etc lol keep dreaming didnt happen at 80 wont be close at 90

being strong is about good gears, and then any build has the possibility of beating a pure str glaiver at the 80 cap...

i managed to beat one in a 1v1, but i pulled of a sick triple crit to make that happen in all honestly, int hybrids or pure ints have a small success rate of beating pure str glaivers at higher levels, they just have too much hp and with the right garms too much mag def vs the low damage 72 weap.

80 cap is about being gangbanged

thats only because nukers arent really pvp based...there mostly pvm

without the gear, but with good control you will most likely put up a fight
so its 50/50 chance of winning

it doesnt matter what build you are on, because all have their weaknesses and strengths.

Good control > good gear

Based on my experience hardly anyone can kill a 80 str glaiver but the glaiver can hardly kill anything either... same with nearly all other builds.

I was pvping a 80 Glaiver with +7 glaive (I am hybrid int 78 s/s with +5 sword) and none of us was even coming close to killing each other. Same when I was fighting a 80 blader some mins later... both fights ended up in just stopping fighting cuz it was a waste of time.

And as for str vs str its even more boring....

Glaviers have strong physical attacks and have an advantage over other physical builds these days, due to the lack of up to date skills.

When youre 52 and farming with a 9 gap. You might notice that you can hardly kill anybody that is youre lvl. Only youre strongest attacks dent youre attacker.
Right now, everybody has a lack of skills, but for example bladers suffer the most of this, considering there attacks arent the strongest around overal.

This is just my opinion. Not a thing to flame glaviers or nukers.

Int hybrid.

I'm int hybrid lv 53, and I beat lv 55 pure str glaives.

Pure str glaive is noob, blade is the best.

I have pure str bow! they're able to kill my main if they use strong bow, because it does lke 3.5k to me, and then they use crit move to do a further 3k, and I die
Bow is really fun to grind btw.

Well, every builds "Can" beat Pure str glavies.. Just depends how good skills and gear you have..

Im pure int Nuker and have defeated many str glavies at my lvl (44)..
But also lost..

So.. you just need luck ^^

Gear, but int-based swords seem to do incredibly well against glaives, although I'm pretty sure I can beat most glaives my lvl and right now im pure int spear. Good wep ftw

All based on the gear and tactics used.

L69 Blader vs L69 Glaiver I couldn't kill the glaiver with my sos + 4 blade. I borrowed a sosun + 6 from a friend and still couldn't win. You know why? Glaiver phantomed away after KD and potted back the dmg.

Nukers that do the same are really hard to beat too because they can get off 1-2 nukes after phantom if you don't phantom to them.
