Not sure if this thing was posted before. Lately I was bored during endless grinding on Takla, so I decide to switch to my girlfriend's Bow char, and let her handle my Hybrid Spear a bit. Then one thing popped out when I use Anti-Devil, I use a crit 2 bow (default bow NPC sells) and a crit 11 bow (main bow currently used) to test Anti-Devil series. I notice the critical rate with each bow vs. each shot is almost the same.
My question is : Is the Anti-Devil series criticals somehow affacted by weapon crit rate ?

Note :
I test this using the first Anti book that add 20 critical, I don't use last book (add 30) to test because if it hits i means critical.

I think crit does not increase the chances for you critting, but the chance of more damage. I have a crit 5 blade and a crit 14 blade. The crit 5 does the same as 14 but less damage. Someone please verify this. The damage is increased a grip thought ;-p.

i dont know about that, i've tried using an NPC blade(1 crit), and it was like i do 1 critical every 15 mins.

but when i used a 12 critical blade, it was not very rare to see 3 consecutive criticals on my chains.

about the anti-devil, maybe crit on weapon does not stack with the skill.

The skill says Critical 30 Increase.
So in theory, it should stack with the weapon.

Yah maybe, cuz I try with a crit 2 bow and it crit lots

well my crit10 bow crit a lot often than my crit3 bow. so yes it does matter.

I think str crits less often than int.

Because my main is int, and when he screws around with bows, he hits crits half the time.

My alt is pure str bow and hits only like 1/6 times.
And with second book 1/5 times.

The critical of the weapon does affect it.

It says critical INCREASE not REPLACE.

lol, rainigul... pretty sure you are wrong. It doesn't matter if your str or int. All that matters is the crit on your weapon. Obviously a crit 2 will be less likely to crit than a crit 10. If it has a higher crit it will not do more damage unless it has other better stats. It may do more crits which equal more damage, but the crit will not increase the base damage of the weapon.

maybe, or it just increases your critical to a fixed 30, not adding 30 critical

Mmmm that might just be true, I think my crit 2 bow does just as much crits when using Devil Bow, as I do with my 12 crit bow
