Hey i have a pure str currently using a bow earing garmnet. It is level 15 and has a 9 gap with fire imbue level 2 weapon skills anti devil bow level 2 and 2 arrow combo level 1. Once i am done farming i am gonna do curse heart quest and drop my mastery of bow to 0 and then become a glavie user. Is this a good idea? I really want to get the get spear users combo so ya.

Well I don't think it's really worth wasting the cash on 7 lvls which will only give u like 10 sp back but cost u like 50k so i'd just keep the bow lvls at 7

That is the approach that many people take because bow is the best weapon to farm with in the stronghold. After you finish farming the amount of SP that you want, you can change your weapon to whatever you want. I wouldnt bother deleveling your bow mastery until later in the game because if you dont have a lot of money, it can be a little expensive at the lower levels when sometimes paying for pots can be tough. Those extra mastery points in bow wont make a difference until you are near capped and farmed.
