it's generally like this

if you're full str ,you wear arment.because you're full str you already got a high phy's defence, but you're mag. defence is lacking. You wear garment to compensate that(and the mp reduction + speed is handy xD)

if you're pure int,you already got a high mag. defence, and you will absolutly need armor to survive longer against bladers, glaivers and bowman(and monsters)

you could also consider protector, but i don't like it.it looks lame(:P)and it is a hybrid in a matter of speaking,i prefer being good at 1 thing, then being average at 2 things..

1 is that true.
Armor users are the slowest moving ones. Neither of the 'protection' sets (armor, protector, garment) increases your attack unless you add alchemy (str, int, etc.)

2 is it also true that you can run faster with garment.
Garment gives you a 20% speed increase, Protector gives you a 10% increase, Armor gives you nothing

3 does garment also save u potions. :?
Garment reduces MP consumption by 20%, Protector reduces MP consumption by 10%, Armor dosnt reduce anything

also depends on your mob or build a bit. if you are a pure int, it can be so
that the garment saves you mp pots but makes you use more hp pots

the speed disadvantage of armor can slightly be helped by the grasswalk skills

I´m a full int s/s, so I used garment or armor based in the monster I´ll kill ( or try at least ).

If the mob can hit me ( and hit hard with a phys attack ) I use armor.

If the mob is killed by nukes before reached me, I use garment.

Reach you and hit hard ==> armor

Killed by nukes before hit you ==> garment

it really depends on what your weapon and build is...

for example my best thinking of clothes for a glavier is garment just becuase it adds up to your magical attack and defense since the weapon is a glavie you will be expecting that its pure str which means its low in magical defense and magical attack garment will best help you as a glavier...

it really depends on your chracter....

and bytheway good question about armor clothes, if it slows you down

i wanna know too.. :?

uh...no it doesn't...

maybe if you have int blues on all your garment, but you can get int on armor or protector as well.
