<9 gap assumed throughout entire farming process>

Lets say you want to farm in the donwhang cave as a pure int. Its obvious that its better to farm at 64 if you can find a sox sword/spear, but what if you cant? Is it then better to farm at 64, 68 or 72?

At 68 and 72, you'll have the third book fire nuke which may help a lot. You'll have sss at lv68 and gsm at 72 (they can be fun for pvp/jobs when farming gets boring). You get 6th level passives at 72.

I know that nachals would probably be best if one chooses to farm at 72, but hows the bot situation there? In fact, hows the bot situation in general in the caves?

Just keep in mind that the later you choose to farm, the more valuable everything you find will be. I've only farmed at 52 and 64. 52 was uber fast at penons on the lake but caves has super spawns too but sometimes gets crowded where penons never did. As far as 64+ I am not there yet.

But at level 64, you have that (very very very) very very slight chance of finding a sosun 8d weapon. At 68, i doubt you'll have that chance. You can find the same tablets at all 3 levels training on equal level monsters. At level 72...a pure int can train in garments on level 70 nachals though...

get to 72, your pure int so u can farm in a high spawn nachal room. And with lightning you can super farm =D

that's right. look fpr 72+7 or 72+9 weapon, and farm in the nachal room. At 72 you will have gsm, and 3'rd book fire. 72 is the best out of the three imo.

Well this may not the answer u looking for but.

Im doin this: from 52 to 70 im only upping my necesarily skills, like mag dm buff and the nukes + imbue, there are beraly INT mobs so those buffs you dont need, once u hit 72, u can make a 5gap and go slowly to 80, being able to use maxxed skills once u hit 74/75, yet farming. Who doesnt want that, being *half*maxxed and farming at the same time, your skills will be very strong + your still earn SP.

I'm farming in caves atm and it's a pain. Low drop rates and so much KSing going on >.< Imo, you should farm at 64 so you won't farm as much when you're lvl 72.

im pure int S/S and i got bored of sp farming at penons and heard that nachals and yachals were good to farm on for int should i sp farm on them at lvl 68,70, or 72?

hey im pure int and im farming at lvl 69 in nachal rooms can one hit them and get 476 sp xp a kill and the botters arent that bad all in talakman

that's what im doing.

as full int go farm at nachals at lvl 68-72. cuz then u can use lvl 68/72 weapon, make it at least +3 and wear garment. nachals will do very little damage on you and you will be able to kill them with 2 nukes. u dont really need 3rd book fire nuke.

As vanom mentioned Nachals are going to be your best friend when you have a gardment set on around 70, and you can almost one-shot them.

Farming at 64 is fun but lots of KS going on and not-so-good drops

Actaully your chance of finding sosun is higher.

Why does there seem to be so much sosun nowadays?

Cuz all high level botters are grinding 24/7 in the third tier, that is 72-76 but in our case since there's no 9th degree, 72-80 tier. It's here you will find sosun. 64-68 = chance for sos 8D. 68-72 = som 8D, 72-76/80 = sosun 8D.

At least that's what I've read on a few other posts here. (too lazy to use search to quote).

About farming i think lvl 72 is the best times to farm. U can farm at bone soldier there.
About finding sosun, it not really what lvl u can get what. Some ppl find it at lvl 60 which kill 7 degree mobs and get 8 degree sosun blade. It is only depending on ur luck and botter is more chance to get sosun because of 24/7 hours lvling(luck + long times kill).

you arent getting 476 sp xp unless you are on gt.

I'm currently farming nachals at lvl 65 with skills at 57 and getting 281 sp xp for a devil nachal and 265 for the other kind.

wear garments and go to last nachal room nice spawn rate there but on babel when i was grinding there there were alot of botters:(
