So I saw a few videos Glaive vs Blade and similar.

And no one uses chains in pvp... I mean they can deal good damage in a short amount of time...

Are they really useless in pvp?

Blade can't kill glaive anyway so they just choose to annoy them with kd/stab

Unfortunately, the blader had a SoSun blade and zerked at the end ^^

I believe you just owned yourself.
9 minutes + sosun + zerk? Shows ya exactly how strong teh bladers are, eh?

I know that I owned myself and i know that bladers can't really kill, but they are dam cool

bladers fiting str chars arent that great. but they can own with a few crits.

i saw a few vids on blade vs int chars. awsome

if i ever find those vids again ill share

no they are not useless
they are very usefull against shield users, because you have a better chance of hitting them.

Glaivers do not use shields, so they practically eat everything you throw at them, so its better to just hit them hard with your KD and stabs.

i saw a s/s nuker got owned in one hit by a glaiver, then in their second round the s/s nuker blocked every attack then he owned the glaiver.
the glaiver said "f**k that block" ROFLMAO

so i guess if you are a STR blader, you have a better chance of winning because after you take an attack, then block the next attack, then you knockdown the glaiver, you can recover again.

Bicheon chains are useful for PvE. Generally, bladers should knock out a mob in 2 chains. In PvP before lv 41, bladers should play like this: KD (fail) -> chain -> KD until succes.

I've killed many glaivers with sword. Without kd stab(cause i don't have, cause they suck balls). i Use cold wave arrest Billow chain blood chain fire nuke lion shout and theyre dead if they're 3 lvls higher than me pure str(3 cuts it real close, 4 is impossible)

bladers do win against glaivers if they have high crit blades..


but it depends on the gears though..


and i use chains in pvp... the 5 combo..

In my opinion, chains are kind of useless in PVP because all they do is give your opponent time to heal. Same thing with glavies. I haven't lost to a glavie around my level that has used chains to fight me, and I've only got 4.2k HP.

If you get knocked down in the middle of a chain, it was for nothing.

then i guess its all the same, one slow hit can be cancelled by a Knockdown and also block, and chains can also be cancelled by Knockdown and block

as a blader i still use chains though... i crit much on chars with low parry ratio..

if you have a high crit weapon you could come to one of those rare chances where you crit an entire chain

hehe i did it once with blood chain and i pwned a player 4 lvls higher than me , it was great

before you go about glorifying the glavie...str bladers and glaviers, when it comes to pvp are equal...its turns into a pot war....eventually a glavier may get lucky and pull 2~3 crits off in a row...and EVEn then its a maybe loss for the blader. It Farking annoying how long the battles go on for.

Blader's are tanks. That's why we do so little damage. Yet with a shield a level 78 pure str glaive can't kill me and I'm 77 with blade+shield.

Well, I think chains sucks for PvP because, Whenever you hit him like 3 chains (And u using 5 chains combo), He'll use HP pot, And its like waste of dmg.

& who says glaves can kill also? at 80 glaves & blades can't kill each other, w/o help

yes the chains are useless in pvp

actually nothing is useless
chains do damage, and thats one way to wipe your opponents pots.

he get zerked in the end, not all time(9min)

chains aren't good in pvp in 9 of the 10 times
against a pure str that is.
the pure str will just pot through you're chain

1 large hit >lots of small hits

well heaven chain has 3 large hit and 2 small hits..

imagine if they all crit..



glavie vs blader = pot war
(their gears decide who will win)

The glaive won, but if you see the HP of the glaive
it goes down to 25% everytime the blade uses his chains.
then the glaive recovers every time the blade gets stunned.

Bicheon chains are fast, it would be overpowered if you could do critical on every hit. Maybe that is why Blades have the least critical value compared to all other weapons

Well i don't know why bladers don't use chains then knock down then chain again if they did that glavie might die

they can kill a glavie in pvp. its possible

The chains can be potted with ease, by a full STR glaiver. chains are useful for PvE (mobs usually go down in blood+billow or ascention+heaven. In PvP, all a blader should do is KD+stab
