I was wondering, i was planning on making a pure str bower character. all my other characters have been int hybrids or pure ints, never had a pure str before. but im planning to make a pure str bower because it very uncommon on olympus to see them. most of them have gone hybrids or just int. can someone please tell me at lv 80, fully farmed with good gear, are they capable of being good in both pvp and pve?

played few archers, and yes they definitely are
however, to be good in pvp you need very good gear
with +5 bow you can kill things in 2 skills which is awesome
in pvp u will need to run a lot.
i took armor from lv1 ->72 (at 72 u start farming at yachals) , then switch to garment, or protector at least.
it's build with a lot of fun, seeing lv 70s ints dieing in one hit by lord yarkan, and you lv 60 die in 3 hits at least is funny lol

not got a clue what pvp is like at 80

Just to let you know that most of the high level bow builds are str or close to pure str on Olympus. And though bows are not a popular choice ... you will be far from unique.

Bowing depends almost entirely on the type of PVP and your bow. Since you pretty much have no defensive skilsl whatsoever, you will likely go down fast.

The advantage is that with a decent bow, a crit means that pretty much anyone goes down in one hit, or if they're well geared, one hit and a multiarrow. However, 1v1 PVP means that you're going to get KD and stunned by anyone who knows what they're doing in the time it takes any of your skills to charge up.

In 1v1 PVP it's basically just a lot of running. Garms plus (hopefully) maxed grasswalk means you can outrun AND outshoot anyone in the game. And that's all you'll be doing, and hoping they screw up.

In group PvP, bow dominates. You're like a pure int nuker with more damage, enough hp to tank someone if you get their attention, enough speed to run away, and (also hopefully) force skills to rez, debuff enemies, and heal.

(Note: I've never played using a bow, only against and with other people so I might be completely off )

( the song name might be "the warrior" ,i've got two versions on my pc sorry ) , it's in the movie "Formula 51 [The 51st State] " aswell

second pvp one i dunno the reggae part but i can find out the dance track used at the end my brother loves that stuff..

max str + high crit = uber crits --> ownage in pvp.

no seriously. most bow builds on olympus are mostly int. for every str to int is 1:3

I am lv 49 full STR bow, and have anti devil bk 3 + crit 14 bow. My crits are insane... . Full STR bow FTW

Make sure to get a high crit bow. As you can see in that video, the bowman was pretty much screwed because he didn't crit a lot :O I think I only saw 3 or 4 crits from the Anti Devil Steel, and there should probably be more than that. The only time the glaiver's health got down below halfway was when the bowman did a critical on both the Anti Devil Steel and Devil Arrow.
