1. What makes SOS bows so much more powerful than regular bows?
2. What does the +1/+2/etc. mean in parentheses after weapons? Is it +3 to hit? +3 damage?
3. Is it worth spending 7-9 mil on a lvl 16 SOS Bow if you don't plan on farming sp? It just seems like your would outgrow it fairly quickly otherwise for such a high price.

Read 2 first.
1: SoS/SoM/SoSun weapons are each more powerfull then the other. SoS = equal to +5, SoM = equal to +10, SoSun is = equal to +15.
2: If you hold your mouse on a weapon you see magical attack power and physical attack power (for example 100~140 and 120~160 )
If the item is +1, the attack powers go up with about 10 each, so then it will be 110~140, 130~170.
3: Definitely not, you outlvl it very fast.

Thanks for the info!
So i just saw a bow that said Iron Bow (+3) but it was also Seal of Star. Does that mean it was +8 overall? Or does the SOS supercede the +3 and it's just +5 overall?

This aint AD&D
+1-2-3-4... means its better by a certain percent.
like +1 = +5% mag and phys attk, and so on.
