Hi there,

Atm Im pure int, lvl 24.

Im going for:
Bicheon 80
Heukusal 60
Fire 80
Light 80

My question is, should I get that build instead:

Int hybrid, 90%.
Heukusal 80
Fire 80
Light 80

and leave the rest for possible higher cap?

What do you think?

id get sword and shield with ice and not hueksal just for its passive.

As a pure int, going without heukusal passive is a suicide. Moreover Ice buffs become a waste, when you hit hlvl, so I would go bicheon/heuk/fire/light.

But its not what I asked.

I asked you, whats better in pvm and is quite good in pvp:

PURE int with sword n shield
(bich/heuk/fire/light)

or

a HYBRID 90% naked mage balance
with spear and fire, light only.

Well, I'm a sword & shield hybrid, so I do less dmg than someone using a spear, but I'm only 52 and when I hunt yetis, I can kill them before they even get a chance to swing if I engage them at max range using a nuke and then heaven chain. Devil yetis require a devil cut after the nuke while they charge towards me, so they get their one attack off me more than I'm able to kill those outright.

And hunting worms, they die in a nuke/cut/chain, but sometimes with the red ones, they have a sliver of health left so you can just do a normal swing to finish them off. Bugs in the cave require all of the above but the little 3-hit combo to finish off due to their extra health which is a super fast attack so it's no problem -- the bugs just hurt a lot more with their stronger double attack.

I dunno, that seems pretty darned fast (especially the yetis) and easy to me and makes me feel as if spears are overkill. I'm already uphunting 7-11 levels using a lower damage sword so when you do get closer in level not wanting to uphunt so much, you can kill monsters in one move, so what's the need for the extra damage from the spear? I'm already doing high damage, may as well have the extra protection, block, and blues of a shield as a hybrid with lower health.
