Hey guys,

I'm making a new character.. and I don't know what to make xD

I can't decide.. I'm lvl 12 atm.. with no masteries, just farmin SP, so far I put all my stat points into Strength..

I like PvP, I also like archers, but I keep getting told that archers suck in PvP in Silkroad..

So.. my question is, what do you suggest I make this character into?

I'll just farm on in the meantime xD

I must say, if you like funning around, the bow is super for you, and one thing more BOWS dont suck at pvp they are doing quite well against nukers, just dont choose build, like hybrid archer or int archer or whatever. I suggest you to PICK FULL STR FIRE ARCHER, you need hp and really, later on you can make 70(archer):70(glaive) build if u want , i think somewhere here was quite good topic about this build. Bowers don not need so much sp too, that is one positive side.

Hey but what about Cold Imbue?

The damage at low levels compared to fire, seems nearly no difference, does the dmg gap become that much bigger after a bunch of levels then?

Because frostbite is such a HUGE advantage in both PvP and PvE..

You'll do around 1000 more damage with fire imbue at high levels i think.

At high levels (probably 52+), people will start to be immune to cold. Alchemy has its drawbacks sometimes....

or u could do a duel build, with bow+blade or bow+glaive. but then u'll be sacrificing a force tree for a weapon tree.

Anyway thanks for the help guys, does anyone of you have any idea at all how much SP I should farm up before I start spamming skills/masteries?

Right now I have 0 masteries, 0 skills (obviously) and I'm lvl 12 with 1800 SP..

Im new to this game too but im building a strange thing...
2:1 sword/archer , ice/fire/force..
and im planing to farm a lot... right now im at lvl 13...

Yeah, most people choose to level up masteries to 7 and then start farming at lvl 16 but.. I had a wolf from lvl 5 that I'm leveling along with me.. it deals quite a bit of damage to add to my already pretty sucky damage I do without skills or imbue.. so I thought I'd just go for the 0 masteries and simply farm way to get SP.. no idea if it's the fastest but it seems alright to me..

If u like it go for it..!!! I´m having fun with my character so i will try to keep a 9 gap lvl.. and see how it works...

I like how you are making an archer... but the best archer build is 70:70 physical and magical balance. I know a LVL 7x with that build and he has only been beaten by a glavier that had a SOSUN, I also have a lvl 24 with that build and gotta tell ya its amazing

70:70 archer sucks. Might as well make a pure int blader.

Anyway, the fastest place to farm is probably in the Donwhang Stone Cave. It'll be hard to get there without farming beforehand, but if you can do it...you'll save yourself a lot of time.

Levle 60-70 for cave btw

What's all this talk about this guy figuring some new build out?

I mean I've found out some nice PvP builds in previous games I played, told people and they called me a maniac, people tend to not believe something that sounds weird.. but is this guy for real or not?

I don't want to waste yet another few days and another character on a lie..

Hey man i´m just telling u how my build is.... but im a noob so im not even sure of what im doing with my build just experimenting a little

PS: If u want to call me maniac u can do it.. its just a game... so i guess the most important is to have fun...

I just told you I've been called a maniac for experimenting with PvP builds in games lol, and no I don't want to call you that, I'm just wondering if it's true or not, I just started here I don't nearly have enough experience or the gold stock to experiment with anything myself atm..
