Any way to keep them down? I started again in pacific as a sword/shielder int-hybrid that wears armor... and im used to using a spear hybrid in Venice. That means im using a lot more mana since i spend more mana killing each individual monster due to using more than just an imbue earlier on and because im wearing armor instead of the protector on my spear girl... and i get to wondering what will happen to my funds...

Not really, pure str use less pots... but as a hybrid int it shouldn't be so dramatical if you stall enough.

try searching for information on the mobs you are fighting before you go
for example certain mobs need other gears. being a full int in garments vs bandit archers and being a full int in armor vs same mob can result in a cheaper grind session.
Always make sure you get good jewelry and try to always buy jewelry first if you are low on cash for other armor.
