Hello all. I have been thinking..at higher lvl 70-80 is it gonna be beneficial for a pure str glavie to wear armor instead garments. They way I was thinking is that when you pvp a pure int, they have less health so if you can get some hits while they are nuking you have a chance to kill. But the main fight for str is when facing another pure str of same lvl. So would it be good for a str to wear armor coz the opponent str will mainly have physical damage

I don't know much what goes on at high lvl pvp, but for me the goal besides all the fun of grinding (!) in game is pvp..so please just write down your thoughts..thanks

I would say garment, but protector is also a very good choice if you want that extra physical defence while still maintaining a decent magical defence.

I would say no to armour unless youre farming/ginding heavily on physical mobs and want to spend less on pots, but i would still use protector.

Its your choice, really, although the benefits of protector/garment heavily outweigh the advantages of armour.

I switched from armour to garment. Because I like the small extraspeed garment brings. Although I almost spend an equal amount of HP/MP post because Im grinding at Ujigis that are 10 levels higher than me.

Since ur PURE STR u dont need to worry about physical defense.. u can go for Garment..

if you are going against with a pure STR. character you are definitely not wearing a garment. you wear armor for supreme defense against a pure STR. its best to buy both armor and garment to keep it optional depending who or what you are up against. (especially if you have plans with someone to pvp with and know what kind of suit he/she is wearing)


ps if you are not rich in SRO than its really up to you in the end. i would perfer armor due to that there are over 70% of pure STR. in xian server

Thanks much for the replies.. the only point I was looking from is that pure str don't do magical damage, so I don't need the extra magical defence that garment provides in pvp.. but yes in random pvp its kinda hard to switch...I'll be dead by the time I finish switching my cloths

if u use a armor in pvp u will die to any nuker in 2 hits
so its better to use garm in pvm, and pvp
makes u run faster
saves mp potions

pure STR should wear garment.. if u like gayish look when lvl 90 cap open then wear protector..

its kinda simple if you cant afford 2 or more sets then choose what gives you most positive overall effect on your build.

pure str > garment
hybrid > prot
pure int > armor

THERE ARE OVER 70% OF PURE STR. IN XIAN SERVER.

IF YOU DIE FROM A NUKER WITHIN 2 HITS, YOU ASSUME

YOULL DIE AGAINST A PURE STR. THAT WEARS ARMOR (IF YOU ARE A PURE STR/GARMENT) . IT WILL BE SOME-WHAT OF A LONG FIGHT BUT IF SRO GOLD IS INVOLVED, JUST SAY YOU ARE IN A GOOD MOOD TODAY TO GIVE MONEY AWAY.

CHOOSE WHAT YOU PERFER. IF SRO GOLD IS INVOLVED FIGHTING A MIXTURE ONE AFTER ANOTHER(PVP OUT OF A PVM AREA), I RATHER DIE BY A NUKER (20%~25% PURE INT. POPULATION) THAN BY A PURE STR.(70%~X% PURE STR. POPULATION). AT THE END OF THE DAY WHO MAKES MORE MONEY?

P.S. ATLEAST YOU KNOW THE OVERALLS OUTCOME OF CHARACTER'S BUILD THAT YOU CAN KILL OVER 50%~70% OF SRO PLAYERS IN THE GAME (IF YOU'RE A PURE STR/ARMOR). IF YOU ARE IN A GUILD WAR, STRATEGIZE YOUR GAMEPLAY COMMUNICATING WITH OTHERS TO INFORM THEM THAT YOU ARE A PURE STR/ARMOR AND THEY WILL PLAY THE GAME LIKE IT WAS CHESS "IF"
