I have made a bow in the past and it sucked. Now, I have a new one, and I was told to go hybrid int on it. So far it has been pretty cool. The only thing I had to ask was if a 1:2 build on a bow was good for it?

Also I was gonna use spear for pvp, so later on I could nuke really good or something. >.>

And was also thinking of doing pure int from lvl 35+. Is that a good idea?

Bow is NOT an INT based weapon. It relies on crits (anti-devil skill has critical hit chance increase). Full STR crits are insane (very strong), therefore you should go full STR. Hybrid int is a fast leveler and that's all there is to it. You will level very fast, but will generally suck in PvP, unless you have godly gear.

Sigh, check the stats on a bow.
They lie in between a str and an int weapon.
EG
lower phys attack as a glaive.
same phys attack as a spear/blade
higher phys attack as a sword.

Lower mag attack as a spear
same mag attack as a glaive/sword
higher mag attack as a blade.



If you're up for an interesting build check Jadekiss'es topic.
If you're up for a build that's been chewed for you, go full str bow.

(but realise a bow has a hard time in 1on1 whatever the build might be with fairly slow skills and no added defence or hp)

Lol that was a fun explanation. The reason I chose spear as a secondary weapon was because I need something better for pvp. >.>

Also, should I go ice or fire?
