im becoming an amazon char name will be gokuss4 if not takin and i was wondering what skills should i get and stuff like that.

Shame about the wholly unoriginal name. Sorry, I just have a pet hate with all the number-users and all the millions of Gokus and Akiras and Leetaznbois and 2HOT4Us and all the other lame, lame, laaaaaaaame names.

Technically there's nothing wrong with it. But try to look at it this way: So many other people use names of popular characters from popular animés and tv shows and movies and other media. So... many... people. And in this day and age, it's almost the very hallmark of the typical "n00b" who hasn't the intelligence to type full coherant sentences or think of decent, cool-sounding names for themselves.

I'm by no means saying that you fall into this category- just that there is a stigma, or stereotype, associated with it; one that many people look down on. It becomes tiring seeing so many people with the same names- all thinking they look cool to be called "Goku", for example, when infact they're making themselves look just like everybody else.

More in your interests than mine, I do suggest that you come up with a cool name that people remember you by for being unique. But it really doesn't matter to me either way, and I wouldn't dream of ordering you to share the same opinions I do. If you like the character and want to honour it and display your interests in DBZ, by all means you have the right to do that!

Naruto is nowhere near as famous as dragonball, and Moogie doesnt even watch it, so she owuldnt pick uchiha's name out

haha funny but i just got tha name cos of Uchihas Itachis character in the anime meaning bad ninja guy that kicks evryones ass lol. So when i found out that sro had a thief job i said hmm ill name him like that

I think using "famous" names can be inspirational sometimes, it helps you to push yourself harder and carry on to be just like the person who your trying to be, it also keeps you sane while killing 50 million ghost bugs just to get 150 eggs from them lol

I guess in the end it's all a matter of opinion.

People will either pick an existing 'famous' name, or make up something original to themselves. Even so, if everyone in the server was split 50/50 between these two opinions, the people who pick famous names will still see tens of other people named almost exactly the same as them. The original people wouldn't. I don't know about others, but if I were to see so many other people using my name, it wouldn't feel special to me anymore.

Yeah famous names get annoying when people choose a variation of them, otherwise I think they look okay, if you start seeing numbers after the names or whatever it looks irritating.



I actually saw Pai_Mai in Xian yesterday, I was so irritated that he hadn't even chosen the character who looks like Pai Mei, he was that tattooed freak instead of the old man, if your gonna imitate someone like that you'd think they'd at least make it look like the person.

I made sure I got Pai_Mei on the Babel server even though I may never use it lol
