cant decide!! 
I think depends in what range you're lvling.
In early lvls bow have a huge advantage because a STR build will kill easily a mob in a short period of time, and dont need to run to get another.
BUt when a sword user get his nukes, the velocity will be similar, at least I was 1 hitting earth taoists now I have my nukes and a STR bower was there, and I saw we both kill the taoists in the same time more or less. Spears have a better damage, so I think the killing speeed is higher then bow.
So in the long run the bow have a constant speed to lvl, when swords or spears only got decents speeds after nukes in lvl 30.
