BIG DESICON

Post by Tag_Z... »

Alright...
I love my nuker... he's great.
Although I do get bored cause no one is doing raids or anything so i want a bow. So i was thinking... Should i turn in him into a bower... i have both spear and sword so should i get bow or jsut play on a new guy?

Well...to remove an entire mastery tree will cost a bunch of gold. If you have enough, go ahead. You also need to farm to get bow skills. I would start fresh.

Alright well I dont really know why you want to go bow, for a pure int you would want to take advantage of the magical Dmg on a sword/spear. I would say make a new guy. Int advantage is the insane Dmg they do thanks to the Magic Attack of the Sword/Shield, yet they die easy. You would still do serious damage with a bow im sure, but i dont know how effective of a character it would be. Wait a while and see what some others think though.

Pure INT bow = Worst. Idea. Ever.

1. The bow is based on critical hits. Criticals depend on STR. You will not hit hard with a bow.

2. The bow has a low magical attack, so your nukes will not hit as hard as they would with a spear.

3. The bow does not give you the benefit of a shield for extra defense.

4. As a pure INT you already have great ranged attacks (your nukes), so why get a weapon that does less damage?
