im a lvl 23 an d i plan to make my bower a pvp char....(dont tell me "oo teh BoWZerszesz NoTT a PVp ChARRr!1!1!1!!!!!111!!!") the point of this post is a question. are most good pvpers int based or strength based becaus ei dont know if i wan to invest in cold for shield and passive. im already fir eso i figure dif most ppl are int i would just max fire sheild thing.

yes if you are a bow user i would try to make it 70% 70% and egt lots of good arrmor with int and str blues so its about 80% 80% it will make u harder to kill and make both of your damage valuses higher i have tryed 2 bow builds pure str lvl 52 and a 80%80% bow and the 80% roxed me every time but i can kill pure ints spears-sword int and allso some 1/2 bows

what the hell are you talk ing about mate? i asked if i should bother with ice mastery for shield skill and u told me go 80% 80%....

I would personally go pure str, since crits are str based and are your main damage dealers. As for your force masteries go Fire for imbue and go light for phantom walk. Start out with anti-devil arrow then phantom away and follow up with another anti-devil. You can go ice if you want but there are lots people that are immune to freezing and frostbite, or just use pills, and even when I get frostbite I can just tank through it usually. Others may say go hybrid, but I think why waste int for magic attack if you do more with pure str crits anyway?

no! im pure strength and im staying that way.. im just asking if (saying i want to pvp alot) should i get some cold mastery so i can get physical shield? or just stik with the magical shield of fire

i would do the ice and fire protections> srry miss under stood the first part

Ice is really good to bowers because you can freeze the mob and then use fire imbue to rip apart their hearts.

^^^ thanks... well i guess im going to have to farm... say i have both at max level (sheilds) do they both do max protect or does the fire shield weaken the ice sheild or sumtin?

Dam ur really confusing ur own issue lol. Noone knows what u really want. No one buff wont decrease the other. An what knife was saying is 80% 80% hybrid bowyer is apparently a very good build. I've read other posts about how good it is so maybe u should try to listen to him. Also even with devil bows high crit rating, does relying on crits to win sound like something worthwhile? dont freak out so much about pure str, bigger crits (hopes you realize a high damage int hit with a small crit is about the same as a average str hit with a big crit; STUDY IT)
