Armour, Protector, or Garment

Hey guys, I just had a quick question about my character.. I am 2:1 str with fire/glavie and I currently use armour... I have heard of many pure str characters using garment and I was wondering whether I should be using armour in my case or something else.. If anyone knows what advantages each would have in my situation it would be much appreciated. Any and all comments are welcome .

Pure int- amour
Pure str- garment
Neither- protecter I'am just guessing

as a pure str I wear garment , I have a pure int character which wears armor and protector. So for a str build I go for garment , you already have good def we don't need to make it better with armor and sacrificing + speed boost en - mp cost

if ur a 2:1 str build u should wear either garments or protector, not armor
