Hi,
I'm a Pure STR blader... (fire\sub light).
Should I get Ice for the buffs or Pacheon for the HUGH attack rate increase\black hawk(300~atk bonus), and for PvE (blade is 2 slow at grinding )...
Tell me your opinion plz! all will be welcome!

Hello,
I am a lvl 72 blader. As STR based characters have a high phy defence, the ice guard is less valuable than it is to INT based characters.
I have been toying with the idea of adding either bow or gliave tree instead of ice. Pros of the bow tree that I see are really only in PvE. As I am more interested in PvP I find that the benefits of gliave tree seem better to me. The HP increase of the passive from gliave tree seem better vs INT based characters than the Phy Def increase of Ice Guard. And seeing as as Blade vs STR it is usually a pot fight even without Ice guard I feel that those masteries could be better used elsewhere.
I favor Bow over Ice and Glaive over Bow, but that is due to my personal preferance.

It seems like you haven't talked about the hawk benefits and the parry:
the passive parry increase will help Vs Int.
The hawk CAN be used with a blade... so more attack rate=more damage right? and damage is all i need to beat up other Full STR...
so again, what will you choose?

take force and make your guild happy by becomming the tanker/resser like me

Initally I was going to take Force as my 4th tree (already have blade fire and lightening) however as much of my guild is approching level 80 and even at level 70 Force mastery you cannot res lvl 80s I decided not to take Force Tree.
The hawk and passive of bow are a strong point. I still would prefer the glaive tree personally, but I think bow is a close second choice for me. I see no reason not to choose bow over glaive if that fits your style better. It certainly would allow you to level faster than just adding gliave tree.

they will eventually fix the res problem, and you can still res 79 and down... im sure your whole guild isnt 80 O_o

i say bow that is going to help you alot in pvp agienst ints take them out quick alot quicker than your blade will anyways

RE: Res fix. Yes I am sure that they will raise res lvl at 90 cap. but by then I might be rethinking my masteries anyway.

Also, I thought of another reason that I would choose glaive tree over bow. The fan skills. That temp boost to mag. defence is amazing and can let you get in close to the nuker to attack.

Still not knocking bow as a valid choice.. just saying why I'm choosing glaive.
