Hi, I'm level 11 with 5 heuksal and 5 lightning. I'm going pure int (Starting with spear, perhaps ending with sword+shield), and from what I read, I figure that I want the fire imbue. So should I start upping fire mastery now so I can imbue my spear? I'm not sure how gaps work, (plan on having a 9 level gap from 14 onward), so Im wondering whether having 5 lightning + 5 fire will count as a level 10 mastery on force or just level 5.

your gap is the diffrence between your highest matery lvl (so right now lvl 5) and your character (now lvl 11) so now you have a gap of 6

if you want to farm some.. easiest is at lvl 16 with a 9 gap so lvl your mastery fire and weapon matery till lvl 7 and get fire imbue lvl 2 and let the farming begin.
