I would suggest you 2 obtions.

1. you go full str (which means all points on str)
use fire as main element/imbue and lightning as passive elements for speed etc.
you could also get ice for more phy defense if you can afford the SP for it !

2. you try the 70:70 build-->http://www.silkroadforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=24752

definitely go pure str
well this is what i am doing
keep pacheon at 4 lvl gap
fire at 6 lvl gap
light at 8 lvl gap and
ice at 13 lvl gap

i am maxing all the pacheon skills and keeping strong bow and autumn at 8 lvl gap

get fire phys increase buffs and fire imbue and mag def
lighting ghost walk and speed and concentrate
ice frost nova 2nd book and def buff

Thanks for the input!
I was thinking maybe I should go for pure str and use fire because it would do crazy damage! But im still trying to figure out what to use =D
Anyways thanks for the input!

i am going a little off the wall, gonna start a new char on the new server, and go with a hybrid ice bow. for some reason in my mind it works really well.

np yw but i cant promise you that this char rocks on PVP, it always depends on how smart you are and what gear you use and on your victim !
just give it a chance and you will see :)

cold seemed to work the best at low lvl's for PVM but got less effective as you got higher in lvl's and I hear it's almost useless in PVP at higher lvl's. fire does the most damage but light has splash damage which works great if you get mobbed. I would get both fire and light and pass on the cold.can't tell you what skills to get. I only used a bow to lvl up my nuker character until I got my nukes at 30. hope this helps.

the only way cold imbue is useless is if the person is ice immune, and bow isnt for pvp anyway. they are support pvp, so cold with support pvp would be the best imo, cuz you would freeze the person so your glaive/blader friend can pwn him easier, and you will also do damage of course with high chance of critting.

this is a good link to read. wouldn't it be better to do the most damage possible ? I agree freezing someone helps but there's the chance they could be imune at higher lvl's and with the buff and passive from fire you even do more damage. and with light you get grass walk and ghost walk which will save your life as a bowman.light also has good buffs and passive. I still think you should get fire and light before cold. Just my opinion. My wife is currently building a pure str bowman lvl26. she is going with fire, light, force (she want's to ress people :P ). If you plan on getting to the cap do you really want to take a chance on getting there and having people imune to your imbue? and I have to apologize, when I said PVP I didn't necessarily mean 1V1. I meant any player vs player combat (jobs, guild wars). and even as a support you still want to do the most damage, just from a distance :) .
