ok I know cold gives you extra defence..blah blah blah, i know what it does. Is it good for pure Str builds though? I mean is the extra defence worth sp farming for. I'm not a patient person and SP farming pisses me off. Wondering if my pure strength glaive should have cold. I already have Heuskal, fire, and lighting.

I say no pure str already has a TON of hp so it doesn't need it

No, pure str need all the damage they can get plus if you go ice your missing on alot of nice fire buffs

My advice: if you want, SP farm it up. However, it also takes up valuable mastery space. You may want to consider Pacheon as an alternative, or to just not farm for it at all since you will have to de-lvl it at next cap raise almost certainly. It's your choice [/quote]

only thing about ice is you can be anoying and always freeze two guys pvping

Yah I know Ice is handy but he said he hated sp farming so thats why i said he didn't need it

i rather get lightning and fire buffs

ice just make your already hard skin harder

if u r pure str blader.
then get ice guard and pasive

make ur build impossible to kill

lighning not so sure y its usefull.
theres only the walk serious

you all seem to be neglecting the GOOD parts of ice


sure u say on a pure str that " u need the extra imbue damage of fire".... well thats wrong... as u get a higher phy balance, your imbue damage becomes insignificant to your over all damage.... meaning that using the ice imbue will not "greatly" hinder your damage.... yet still give u the ability to freeze.... which is incredibly under rated in pve


also in pvp... sure with the fire shield and alchemy system freeze becomes... useless in a word... but this is only at max lvls.... for a lvl 40-60 player u can still get effective freezes on an opponent... this being able to save u from a hunter 6 lvls higher than u.. when u have 15 seconds left of a bandit return scroll * when theifing obviously*


overall it is worth farming it... it will make u stronger... which is the POINT of the game for many people...
