I made this topic because ive seen 100000000 topics about glavie + blade...

Its well known that glavie and blade are excellent tankers and pvp chars (jobs/cape/guild wars)
BUT: Glavie got his weaknesses and blade..

Glavie:

Strenght:
- High damage
- More HP (Passive)
- Great tanker
- Stunn + Ghost spear
- Aggresive build

Weakness:
- Less defense

Blade:

Strengt:
- High defense
- Great tanker
- KD + Stabb

Weakness:
- Defensive
- Low damage

So with Blade you should buy GOOD Blade, for more damage, and fully farmed, en buy a great shield, it max your defense..

With Glavie, because it has no shield/less defense, you must buy a good set (garment is best imo)



I switched from blade to glavie, because i think glavie is better, because the high damage and aggresive style, it has lower defense, but with a nice set, you should worry..

Im a fully farmed guy, i had with blade, a +5 crit14 blade, and a +5 br17 shield, but when i fought a glavie, i always lost, because my damage is low, and i had to play defensive because the glavier maked to much damage for the build...

I know with the dubble stabb, the blader is better, but (IMO!!!) i think glavie is better..

I bought a 8d garment set, all +3 +5str, and a +7 crit14 full blue glavie...when i fight a guy with also good gear and weapon, i always win with glavie..

So please dont ask anymore what is better, your choise..or high damage, or high defense..and what is cheaper,good weapon (for a blader) or good defense(for glavie)

When I was 54 I PvPed some guy named "king2008" who was at least 57 (Taesarin Chest) and I beat him all the times we fought, which I think was about 7. So... blade FTW!

its just your own choice.. you want to survive better or want less defence but more damage?

I am sorry but, a good blader that knows how to play with it, and its at least lvl 52+ with 51 skills should be able to pwn glaviers and pure int's...int hybrids,,well thats another thing but at least glaviers and pure int's--
Blader's can be awsome honestly..you just need to erm, have a good set with a lot of int, and str too but first int so you can make more dmg, sicne u alredy have so much def and hp...
Well, we have been trought this 456444+89+2 times...its ur choice really.

with blade u should max ice guard and passive

that gives very good defense.

i think blade is better than glavier. alot more defense with sheld and ice
critical damage is not that bad.

Can you clarify "defensive" as being a weakness. ??
The only weakness a blader has is low damage.
You hit the nail on the head though with your last line. THE PLAYER WITH THE BEST GEAR WILL WIN. (sadly thats what it comes down to)

A blader my level can never beat me not even even with full sos set. But a sosun blader is a different story

i maked this topic for the people who were doubting (sorry for my english =))) between glavie and blader..

Glavie is a aggresive style, in pvp they give high damage. A lv80 glavier, with good gear, and a +7 crit12+ glavie, are very letal...

Blade is a deffensive style, the chains are'nt very effective in pvp, against other tankers (glavie/blade) so you must use KD/Stabb. Well, with the dubbel stabb, you can make damage, but its still a defensive build.

So its the choise of the maker of the char himself, or playing agressive and tank allot(glavie), or play defensive, and talk allot(blader)

glaviers are an easier target for int hybrids because they are open targets

I dont see ppl with glavie as a challenge..

Even if i get low on hp, I just KD and run away to heal..
Not saying they're an easy kill.. just saying that they're no challenge unless they're way higher than me

Blader just CANT die!! (if u'll play them smart )..
So it all comes down to personal skills and brain

but the bad point is that even lvl 80 nuker can tank a blader..

it all depends lol nah j/k glavie owns and it lvls WAY faster if u got sox glavie or a simple +5 with +3 GARMS u will beat a real good majority of bladers ur lvl

most glavies can beat bladers, BUT imo. best blader can beat best glavie.

bladers are the coolest in the game.

right?
