physical defense compared to HP

so at lvl 80, ice can give u about 100 bonus physical defense
if u lvl hekusai u can get about 800 bonus HP

as a hybrid int sword (only about 32 pts to str)

is
1000HP better?

or
100 physical defense better?

Its 1074 HP. Id get both If i had to choose btw one i choose cold ,and lvl heuskal to 30

i would have to say that the defense is better, because even if you have a bunch of extra hp, if you take a crap load of damage, you will still die.

well, many high lvl ppl say that ice defense doesnt help that much, having force/heuksal is a lot better than goign with cold ( seeing that one weaapon mastery + lightning + fire are the "must" forces)

heuskal, since you'll need some extra space for the lvl 150 cap (JM said they probably will raise the 300 sp lvl cap, but we dunno, if the didn't, you huv to play $$ or a lot of gold to earase right?) if you are going to continue

well, i'll not do that since i'll not be playing SRO at that time, i'll just occasionally play my lvl 60 characters and huv fun killing low lvls in pvp (i know i huv no life)

do the hp bonuses in Heuskal stack? i've only used sword characters really
but to mee i'd rather have 100 more phyical defense and im pur str blade...it'll help a bit against the glaivers...the int guys aren't really a problem
but for a hybrid lasting a bit longer would be better so i'd go with the HP only cause it seems less one sided

I go with cold's defense... against mobs it doesn't really matter how much hp you have as long as you can take a few hits, and so cold would help more (take less damage from each monster)

Against other players... heuksal's only better if they're a nuker.

Phys def works vs Phys based attacks from mobs and str.
Hp works vs all attacks whether they are phys or mag.
But choose what you like most.

phys defence doesnt protect against int damage, extra hp does.

strictly in terms of phys damage, the def is definitely more worthwhile

well this question goes better 4 an INT because STR has lots of HP & phy def
at high lvl the 97(42 pasive+55 last buf) phy def from ice doesn't quite help
but the 1078 does mostly at pvp at PvP
the extra HP helps, it will save your life but it wont make u invincible

Yes int chars certainly need to be more concerned about this, but lets say 2 str glaives are fighting, that 97 defence could easily mean the difference between life and death
