Hybrid sword questions - masteries/armour

I have an 85% magic balance S/S hybrid (only lvl 20 at the moment)

My questions are:

* Garment or Armour? I'm currently wearing garment, but would amour give me greater defense, despite loss in speed and magic boost? Or does the shield and the fact I'm hybrid compensate this? Or is protector they way forward?

*Cold Buffs? My trees at the moment are Fire/Light/Bicheon. Should I invest in cold buffs?

*Hueskal? As with cold, should I invest in this instead? And have a spear for another weapon?

I would go with protector until you get your nukes. Then switch to garment again.

Cold buffs: No, you're fine right now.

Heuksal: Don't need it. You use s/s, which is plenty good. Save SP.
