What would be a good magical balance for a hybrid int sword/shield?

83-86

83-86% naked is very good if u want big hp at lvl 80, just dont try to nuke a pure int s/s lv 80 in garments becos it wont hurt them at all.

most int users dont walk around with full garmet on.

but people do have seperate gear for pvping

Maybe not, but it's smarter at the cap since your not going to lvl and garments are better for PvP

Most high level users where garment. Nukers tear up armor. As long as you pimp ur garms you will do fine. Hybrid FTW 86% you can tank most bladers an kill most str. nukers normally 2 hit each other but hybrid can sometimes take 3.

Im not lv 80 but balance is 86% I can beat most people my lv.

i think naked 90% is better...

90% doesnt really give you that much hp. im 72 with 81% mag. itll be 80 next time i lvl. i find it gives me good hp (when most ppl ask my hp and i tell them how much i have theyre all surprised) and with alchemy i can get my balance to 100%. if not 100 then dam close.

I'm planning for an 83% magic balance

i pvped a few 90% s/s, i notice most of them wear protector so my dmg ends up being superior but it is still a stalemate but once i switch to spear and hit a sst + mars crit they are so dead u need at least 10k hp or garments to survive that.

whats sst? ive begun a heuksal char for the first time so i dont know, and is there really a big hp difference between 83% and 86% balance? im only thinking like a 50hp diff lol, then again im still noobish with my highest char being lvl 31

Soul Spear Truth.

You need to find you own optimal balance, by trial and error. At 64+ you can start adding more int and str to optimise you PvP potential.
Str gives HP
Int gives damage

at lvl 80, i can assure you that a int hybrid with 80 mag bal naked can pwn the shit out of everybody..
