Im about to start this game. I've never played it before or watched anyone play it, so I have zero experience.

So with that said, anyone have any tips/advice? You know, things that you wish you knew when you started off that would have really helped you.

Also if someone can explain to me some of the types of characters and the genre of attacks. I've been looking around the forums and I've seen stuff about 'pure str' and 'nuker', heh but no elaboration on what they are.

try to read the guides about spfarming, several character builds and just try to play it. In the beginning you won't be doing anything with spfarming and such, but it is just handy to know

check character and guides sections read those sticky that should answer all your questions and you will probably know more than most level 40+ players

well, either, read all the sticky post in here, so u learn the game system and not make mistake when building the char.

or u can just make a char, play around with it, get a feel of the game, and then restart and make a proper one for good

edit: u'll find a pure fire glavie is pretty simple to play
