Hi. I made a new character yesterday cause i get bored sometimes with just killing the same monsters with my other char that is lvl38. So i needed something fun and never tested so much before ~ bow. It's really cool and all that but what skills should i use? I dont know anything about archers so if someone could help me that would be great.

And what trees should i use? Im thinking as Pacheon (:P), fire, lightning and cold are that good?

pacheon have many nice skill but i cannot say which is better becose i dont have experience for bigger level skills

but if you are archer i think lightining can be nice when you got more speed to run away if some1 come close and ice is nice too becose monsters get slower and dont get to you before they die
fire of course have highest damage but what you think did it sounds good ice and fire?
i think ice and lighting or fire or lighning
but thats just what i think best

Yes. Fire and lightning is what im going to use but i can have ice to if i want. I maybe should update frost wave arrest? So i can make them slower with that?

Dont take ice. Just take fire as main, and keep lightning a little bit behind for the grass walk. Go full str, and try to max our Pacheon.

For the Pacheon skills:

Try to max:
Anti Devil Bow Series
Arrow Combo Attack Series
Hawk Training Series
Explosion Arrow Series
And if you have enough HP: Strong Bow Series

Im making a 70% phy balance and 70% mag balance. No ice then.

if you going that balance you need ice and light and fire =)

Why do i need ice then? Explain.

No dude believe me, most of the high lvl ppl that still have ice is, or because they feel its useful wich is not, most of em is dlvling it to get another wep mastery or force, and other ppl now it but are just too lazy xD.
Dont take ice, go just with 3 trees so u never need to sp farm^^, like me dude see.
I have a lvl 56 Hybrid Spear int, im farming, and im waiting for some guildies to catch up to me, so im making a pure str blader to see how it is to tan k^^, With fire, bicheon, force, and when i dont need sp for nothing ill jst lvl a lil bit lightning, but i only have 3 main skills^^.
Have fun and sp farm later on in the game.

No im not going hybrid. Ok no ice.. Looked a little on myself and i didnt find any usefull skills there. At LVL30 should i get nuke?

Why would you get a nuke? With a bow you do ranged dmg anyways + if your pure str you'd do really grapy dmg with nukes.... Don't get nukes.

Im not full str, and it does good dmg so why not?

Well, because full str gives 10times stronger crits dan hybrids. Also, hybrids has less HP, so can tank less. For a sword/spearman it doesnt make that much different, because they have stun and knock down.
Archer hasnt got either of that, or anything like that.

What do you guys think of a full str archer wearing garment getting cold just for the cold guard series? No?

I am a full str bow user. Right now wearing protector for grinding and garment for pvp.

But I am getting the ice tree up. Since the last book of the ice defend gives you a nice bonus. I am going for that. And yeah it takes a lot of sp and in some peoples eyes might be a waste. But I like it to have 2 skills floating around me ^^

Besides ice I have pacheon, fire and lighting also. I dont mind to lvl up something slower to get all the skills I want in those 4 tree's

Forget the nukes just because your arrows are better than the nukes and you can use them at higher distances (I have them and dont use them except for fun killing low levels with ice rain ).

About forget ice and choose fire is something that I will not recomend you. Ice do less damage than fire and is a fact, but that is not true is that make so much damage to make you kill much more mobs just because you always has to walk at least just a little to go from one mob to the other. To kill pennons I use the first or the second book of the imbue because I just dont need the third one (and If I dont always use the first one is because of the sonars that are close to the penons) so the damage you deal is far far away of being a crap.

This combined with the imbue and physical resistance of the ice and the magical increase and speed of the lightning.

Well, that is my opinion that go against every one on this forum but I continue using this build with really nice results .

well m8, archers are the nothing in silkroad (
they are easy kill
its fun and easy (stay and shoot) and with a monkey .. best lol
but .. in PvP .. archers realy suks!!
