First of all, some background info. this is my 2nd char. my first char run out of sp at lvl 45 and i just couldnt bother sp farming at high lvl because everything is so expensive.
So i made a new char, got my 9lvl gap and headed towards the stronghold. Farming is an ongoing progress, it takes time to find the right gear, unless someone is lending it to you or you have a rich 2nd char. If you are like me, you will definently spend time to look at stalls and find what you need.
Now to the main point. I have been doing this for about a month or maybe 4-5 weeks, give or take because of the holidays and stuff. Right now i have 60k SP and 8more days of GT. I only play 2-3 hours on weekdays and about 4 maybe 5 hours on weekend mornings, yeah i go out at night lol.
What to expect when you SP farm, expect to be ksed by high lvls being noobs. expect to be ksed by farmers with better gear than you. expect to spend a lot of time jumping from party to party till you find a decent one that stay up for a decent amount of time. expect to de-lvl, its a must if you farm like your suppose to. expect to get bored, many times lol.
This is my gear. enjoy, it took me some time to gather everything as some of the pieces are rare or people sell them for too much. so anyway, here are some pictures.

you can SP farm with your basic armor/gear. what you need to do is add str and int to the gear your using.

Very Nice! I'm doing the same as you

It does get very boring, and trying to get a good bow and armor is hard i can tell you that! ive been trying to make enough money to even think about affording an sos bow and im still only at 1.4m

oo well, nice job!

Interesting read.

I will be farming quite a lot, but not until I reach lvl 42. Then I can alternate between farming and hunting/thieveing/trading.

I might have to end up doing what you're doing.
I am level 40 with 15k. My masteries are at 31 right now (9 level gap). I get about 250 SP per kill for monsters my level, so it's more than what you get at level 16. But killing takes so much longer (I'm blader with a 38+4 blade).
I'm contemplating about starting a new character and just farming at 16 until around 100k SP, but I really don't want to!

yah.. its recommended for Bladers have 2 get most of their Sp farmed in the beginning. Since they do less Dmg, compared 2 like Full ints. Therfore kills take longer.

SOM blade +5 Full blues critical 9
SOM shiled +5 Full blues (no astral) 17 BR
SOM chest +2 protector
SOM legs
Wolf lvl 31
and my total equips gives me +26 STR (pure STR btw)

Just so u guys know.
Ive tried this out:
NPC bow + int/str 3 on all gear.
Sos +3 bow + npc gear.
Guess what did most dmg?
The npc bow + str/int gear.
So its no need to be rich to farm.
Tabs cost like 10k each at D2, D3.
U can easily 2 shot without a sos bow.

pffft u dont need sos armr to farm fer petes sake pepl u farm on weaker mobs neway. Also the myth that u need sos pah thats only if u decide to farm at the beginning of a new degree. Im currently farming from 51-60 (55 4 gap right now, continuing the 9 gap as long as i humanly can after 60). This results in me having the lvl 60 weapon (+3-5 FTW) for when im doin my serious farming probably on yetis by that time (so freakin sick of penons right now XD) NEWAY POINT IS STOP WASTING UR MONEY ON BLINKIN SOS ITS NOT NECESSARY, unless u jus like showin off how much money u got. Im super stingy so I jus hoard all i get lol. 45% more an ima stop killin dam penons an go endanger some yetis YEEHAH happy farming people an stop killin urself

over sos; ALCHEMY FTW. Remember final weapon in a degree is just as strong or better than sos for like 1/10th the price at higher lvls.

i dont sp farm, and i never will. honestly i dont think u need to max out everything or get like 5 skillz and all. im fine with 3. if u keep a lvl 0 gap the whole game, u can learn 2 skills per lvl, which will let u max out 3 skills...correct me if im wrong, this is just mental calculation. but anyways, i keep around a 4 or 5 gap, then close it to 1 or 2, then strech it out again, and it works fine for me.

buy something cheap, sell it for like a couple k more.
do it over and over and over again and if youre dedicated and lucky in two weeks youll get a couple million.
an SOS drop really helps a lot though.

Thats so true. I got and SOS general blade from an Earth Ghost drop which had exactly the same stats as my current Gold General Blade (+1) which i bought from a stall for 75K. I sold the blade cheap for 2.5mil and bought a GDF for 1.8mil so I'm happy.
SOS is such a waste of money, unless u want to farm hardcore at the beginning of a weapon upgrade (or if u just like the blue glow XD).
Anyway, I'm kind of screwed cuz I didn't SP farm earlier on, i only have about 500SP (I'm so messed up but theres no way Im restarting). I'm planning on lowering my mastery to a 9 gap at lvl 32 (I'm currently lvl 30 @60%) and slowly (I mean very slowly, cuz I'm a blader) SP farm just enough to survive.
I'll be using just regular blue items, all +1 with addition str:
Streling Silver Shield
Lunar Blade
Protect Hollyward set
Gold Dragon Flag

Are you talking about 3 skill trees or just 3 skills within a tree? I'm just curious becuase 3 would be enough for me too.

Im currenly SP-farming at lvl 42, with a 9 gap. I have a SOS+5 glavie and that helps ALOT. Im grinding @ Mujigis/Ujigis (lvl 49/50 mobs) and I can kill them with three attacks. Usually I go with Soul spear-Move, Chain spear-Tiger and then Ghost spear-Petal. If Im lucky I can kill them with two crits.

right now i got a lvl 24 item farming @ white/black tigers for wind2s and some low lvl blues i sell 50k below... been doin this for a week and ive managed to make 4mil now (a lot of weap elix drops that i sell for 300k helps

) right now im currently trying to get together garments with int/str and it is hard to find unless of course you alchemy it urself.. im contemplating whether to get a sos 16 bow but it is so fkn expensive T_T.... btw the gears are for a hybrid bower im making (dont bitch i wanna try it)
so far i got:
garment hat : int/str+3
talisman: str+3
boots: str+3
a tip for any farmers.... DURABILITY BLUE IS A MUST!

is their a trick in to deleveling your char? cus i'm farming at lvl 16 right with a 9 lvl gap. i have som sword + shield so i'm hunting bandits. i get like .04% exp a kill and like .5% per giant. in a day and half i'm aobut to be lvl 17, do i jus run outa town naken and get killed to loose exp? cus i tried that and thatss less or around 2%. i hate to do that 50 times. is there an easier way?

I'm clearly no expert, but the only real was to make it faster, to me, is just to get a friend to res you and then repeat the process. So, yes. You will have to repeat the process approx. 50 times. Unless I am wrong.
Take care.

yes thats the only way to lose exp and get your character to 16 0% or 1% or around there. and then continue to farm again.
