Hey all
what do you guys think is better str bow with ice or fire
I understand that ice can freeze therefore kill before mob reaches you
but fire hits harder and with crit the mob is dead before he gets close..
but because im str fire wont do enough dmg????
:?

I've experimented both cold and fire bow. Cold bow works GREAT for PvE. Mobs of your level don't even touch you. However, at later levels (+68) people are ice immune through fire shield and jewlery. Fire has more damage and is also recommeded due to Physical buffs (flame body+passive). If you are STR you deal physical damage. Your magical damage is weak. Imbue damage for ice is also very weak. You end up, at later levels with a force that does little damage and virtually NO status effect. If you plan to SP farm, you could level ice too, for the frost guard+passive and maybe frost nova. Fire skills should be: imbue, flame body, fire protection and passive. You should also consider leveling lightning for: piercing force, grass walk, ghost walk phantom, concentration and passive. If you don't want to SP farm, drop ice completely.

Ok well i think id like to switch to fire then
But i don't want to start a new char..ive made 4 so far =\
So my current char is lvl 29 with masteries as:
Pacheon lvl 29
Ice lvl 25
Light lvl:12 ( grasswalk:

Would it be possible/vaible for me to go fire?
Or should i keep lvling ice and just wait to get to a higher lvl?

If you decide NOT to PvP (although if you do jobs this is kinda a PvP game) Cold vs monsters is ok/good. As stated above. But if you do jobs, pvp (cape) people can get immune (on new servers not a lot are immune yet but in time they will when they have enough funds to raise their resistances).
