Powerleveling = I hate.

It's still another way to level without you actually doing it yourself, which could be comparable to botting.

Plus, it's against Joymax TOS, because it involves sharing accounts.

is it wrong to pay ppl to carry magazines, coffee maker, fax machine, laptops AND sattellite telephone up Everest if you can pay? is it wrong if the army generals get more pay than privates even when it is the privates who are risking their lives more?

its just capitalism, if you got the fund and ppl with teh will to do it, things like this happen all the time

We're not debating economic profit here.

Both powerleveling and botting are immoral and unfair to legit players.

I think it could be stopped if in register your IP would be saved and only you could conect to your character.

you have to work harder for the money you spend powerleveling than leveling up in silkroad, so there is no point...lol

might as well bot.

User, you're right, except for one key aspect. It's against the rules. Go read Joymax's Terms of Service again.

This would not work. Because if you lost power to your modem then the IP address would be changed. Or if you just unplugged your modem it would change the ip aswell. :!:

+1 Billion. Same with bots. Sure, it BLOWS that a bot can dominate me in pvp/job. But honestly, I know who is legit and who isnt. Play for the trip and not the final destination.

what about with scrolls? Or just using an xp party, which they kinda messed up anyway but...

The only real reason Joymax tries to minimize account sharing is so that they are not bombarded with hacking claims. Otherwise I dont see why they would give a flying ...... Anyway, since when have we heard of someone being banned because they told their friend their account info??

If I'd work, I'd make 70$ faster as grinding to 70.

Not sure why they can't just use Punkbuster and give each account a Guid number...

I reckon it's wrong because of the fact that the character user is too lazy to get up to the higher society of SRO and not feel like a n00b anymore.

Hopefully ^ didn't offend anyone.

Cannot happen - that would mean if you get a new pc you need to make a new char (well, hell what about us dynamic ip people?)

Thats cause the acc in question is "Hacked" before it can be banned :D

just as wrong as a level 60 trader following people who are hunting with a fire ox.

which from what i can tell by the response to the globals isnt very wrong.

powerleveling companies use bots typically.

that being said, ive taken some time to watch bots. players are worse. gold bots dont KS. they dont even stay on a mob if someone else starts attacking. they dont use bows. cant say on the leveling bots as i havent seen them yet (well not enough of them, ive watched about 20 gold bots).

!!!! today i was just outside downhang when 7 identical characters ran past me
i followed thef 4 a bit. They all used fire and they all use sheilds and blades. I wached them for a bit longer and i saw they all attackd @ the same time. all healed @ the same time and all logged off @ the same time
i was aon 4 about 3 hrs tday and they kept on reapeating this behavior

it was soo frigin weird

One lved up 5 times in an hour. If this is not pwr lving i dont know what is 8)

Powerleveling companies claim to grind "hand grinding".
That is not "hand grinding"
