ok i'm creating a blader and i'm gonna be farming but what i need to know is what skills I should go for. I did the sp calculator and all that but I'm still not sure. I do know i wanna have four masteries though.

So basically the question is how much should I farm at archers and which books should I get.

I've never understood why bladers go with Ice they need all the dmg fire'll give them + at higher lvls you can be immune to Ice so it's pointless
And there's always uni pills

yes, i think ice is pointless too. although it does give defense, it hardly makes at difference once u hit a higher lvl...it only gives defense when ur like 20 >.<

yah thats why it makes no sense bladers don't need anymore def they need power...so i'd go with fire

I already have fire I was wondering whether or not I should get ice as well for the passive and the buffs.

I wouldn't i'f go with light if i were u the grass walk can and will save your life...tru

OK, I won't vote, because ultimately it's up to you. If you are willing to commit the SP, then go for it. If you don't want to spend the time to get all that extra SP, do not go for it.

Cold will give you a GREAT defense if you ever level it to 60. At level 60 Cold, you get a good boost in defense. Otherwise, it may not be worth the SP.

I made a guide for a pure STR blader, witht he option of either getting Cold or not, and you can weigh how much time you want to spend on which skills I have selected.

You can read my post here. It is a guide meant for people trying to max out their skills (to level 69). As I stated in the post, it's up to the player to decide how they allocate their possible 300 mastery level points. (Note that Cold stops at level 68 not 69, because 68 is the highest level at which no new skills are available).

Comparing the models that I made with what you've made, it appears you've added some unnecessary skills (lion shout, e.g.). Ultimately, however, it's your choice on what skills you want.

That build is fine. As long as you dont use ice as an imbue, ur fine cuz then u wont b able to kill ur opponent, yet they cant kill u either cuz of ur superior tanking abilities.

Since ur using 4 trees, i recommend at least 100k, but u could always farm later.

42(Passive)+55(Buff)=97 defence

about the equivalent of a 72 shield it makes a large difference in damage

go for ice buffs and passives...

ok so i've decided to go for
80 bicheon
80 fire
70 light
70 ice

At 90 cap should I delvl ice and go for:

90 bicheon
90 fire
70 light
50 ice

or should I delvl both ice AND lightning like this:

90 bicheon
90 fire
60 light
60 ice

I'd just delvl the Ice you need light more then ice

well as a blader is hard to kill as u may \know

some times glavie is killing u with they stuns.
my advice is to use ice as a backup skil in case the other person isnt imun to ice.. so u can run P

Let me tell you what to keep, and what to drop
You only need first level of the first book of snake.
Blade force series isnt that useful, I'v never used it in a serious PvP, and rarely in pve.
Drop smashing series. Only useful when you trying to save up on pots.

im a pure str blader also
ATM im lvl 32 with a lvl 32 SOS blade +2 and a lvl 32 +3 shield BR 18
i have a 3 lvl gap and am planning on SP farming at lvl 42
i am owning everyone my lvl and people +5 lvls above me in jobs and PvP
my build is going to be bicheon 80 / light 70 / fire 80
i have used some mastery lvls on like bow and force
so im only using 2 masteries and i might lvl up cold later on but ATM i wont be unless i trully need the extra defence, i wont use it for the imbue at all
thast me guy ATM, i think im doing great, but you decide if you wanna use cold

if you want defence with a blade ( like me ) use armour =P
it gives you defence and you dont have to waste sp in ice, just use lighting and fire, fire for the strengh buffs and attacks, and lighting for speed

id say ditch the cold and lvl heuksal to 60 and max the passive. imo the hp boost is more worth it than the cold buffs.

when you have the masteries at lvl 70 you have all skills, you dont need to lvl them to 90 or 80, just 70

yea just for the skills, but you may want the % boost from the mastery lvl

just my thought on this: I am a blader and i have my ice on the 1st lvl max nothing more, I use it to take down nukers in pvp and it works even with there pills running or at least on all the ones i have ever been up against.?!??
Nukers are ruff on pure str. so the only way i have a chance is to freeze them. who knows maybe its just the people i have been up against. guess we will see when i get to a higher LVL

The Ice passive and buffs make a Blader the best, and a super crazy tank. FTW ><

actually a pure str blader beats nukers most times than a nuker can take out a pure str blader, & u'll probably kill that nuker faster w/ fire imbue

LMFAO ( I remember some of my old old guildies used to think lightning made you attack faster, but pacheon? oh come on XD)

ice to 68, lightning to 68, and I really dont understand why people lvl concentration-3 to level 3 damnit lvl 1 is enough just 20 seconds more duration :S
