what is the best anti nuker str char?

glavie:- high dmg, stun

blader:- block- high def- kd

just tell me which of those and why

I'd say STR glaive because of their strength. Nukers main weakness is their low HP. Glaivers main strength is their powerful hits. Put two and two together.

for mr.user i watched and tried, i have lvl 72 glavier on venice and lvl 42 blader on greece my glavie never lost a duel against nuker but my blader lost cuz iam not familiar with blader techniques

yeah sometimes nukers kill me by a surprise hit in the middle of a job while they r hiding arround but in duel i never lost

Blader works as well. I use a blader character and have never lost to a nuker. Reason I chose glaiver was because of his powerful attacks, he could kill the nuker faster. Blade can usually kill a nuker, but sometimes it might end in a pot fight if the nuker has a strong enough defense. Glaiver isn't in so much danger from nuker so long as the glaiver is wearing garments, and strong ones at that. Blader shouldn't have to worry about nuker at all if he's wearing garment and has a shield with good reinforce and mag. defense.

Critted devil arrow pwns spear nukers in garms (if the archer knows how to PvP he's deadly)

I say bow, a crit devil arrow = boom =P, but bow dies kinda fast too, but on the other hand, bladers in garments do great against em =P

but glaive is also great against nukers they got fan storm

im using a blader character but ill vote for glavie when it comes on killing somone faster..

just get better gear then the nuker u facing

str bow --which mean the nuker is an idiot

I am insulted. Having a nice bow and nice gear at 52 I've yet to meet a nuker within 5 levels of me that even had a chance. My strong bow will one-shot a nuker my level.. without crit.

I am the anti-nuker. More range than them + firewall + deadly crits = gg nukers. The only ones with a chance are the ones with a high BR shield. But even then it's just a matter of time until I crit.

Forget the bow...what you need is a good 50+ fire str glave user.

Pure str fire bow. the bow hits decently fast for quite a bit of damaget, my anti devil bow, back when i was 33 against a 36 nuker, i did about 950 damage, then a arrow combo and in a few quick hits hes dead.
bow is overall a great weapon. combine bow with a frost nova and your set.

(unless they have pills, which isnt a big deal as long as your imbue isnt cold)

figure its all also all about the skills of the person behind the character.

But IMO, bows and nukers arent build for pot fights, so either suprise them mofos or just continue to look for others who you can suprise ^^.

I can kill nukers up to lvl 52 if they are stupid. But I can also get owned by a nuker who is 2-3 lvls below me simply to the fact he knows what the heck he is doing and I didnt expect him.

1st part of this vid is just ridiculous. seems the full str glaives never heard of block parry (maximum 100), parry ration (max 40%), + attack rating on glaive (+40% maximum) and of course, which is the most important, adding int to their gears. get ur gears pimped with each at least +3 int and u just laugh at magical damages. if u dont pimp ur gears, even sosun weapon is shit. cuz u get too much mag. damage. and they seem never heard of bloody fan storm -.-.

btw: one of those glaives seems really to be a fool, uses 2 ghost spear to start attack -.-.

Well, imo there isn't any build that's meant to be "anti-nuker." Any build can be a anti-nuker if you really now how to play ^^. You normally only lose because of about 3 things, better gear, higher lvl, or they know how to actually play ^^

personally.. i think any str class built properly stands a good chance (keep gear in mind noobs..)

but yeah
blader has most defence outa them all... which makes a huge difference in damage so they are the hardest for the nukers to kill...

glaives have stun and knockback.. and that new version of the mag defence buff

bows... can crit quite often :p

I think it is just a matter of how everything pans out. It depends on the character and gear. Their is a person on our server that's a hybrid bower and they do good against nukers. I think it's just a matter of how people play their character like everyone said. Gear is also a factor.

An Int Hybrid played well can take a Pure Str Glavie that isn't played as well. However, against a blader it will probably turn into "pot fights" (as someone else mentioned).

Any Pure Str with a decent crit can send a nuker straight to hell though.

i fully agree to u guys. since the alchemy system went out, gears are so important. but think of crit parry on shields (crit 100). so an archer loses much of his advantage taken from anti devil bow and its crits.

Well, IMO, there are 4 builds that are anti-nuker.

Pure Str Glaive: Crit=Pwn. Knockback=Cancel Skill. Stun=Pwn.

Pure Str Bow: Crit=Pwn. You don't know how many times I've gotten critted by a strongbow, or a berserk+devil.

Pure Str Blade: Tank, Block, KD, Rinse and Repeat.

Hybrid Str Blade: Not so much HP, but better Mag Def, and same reason as str blade.

Nuker vs Nuker: If they're in garms, it's probably a pot battle. If they're both in armor/prot. The person who has the strongest weapon and gear wins.

Ghost Spear?

Umm, I am a pure int nuker spear, with not so good blue gears and a +5 spear, when pvp same level blader/glaiver, most often I can kill with a nuke+ghost, or nuke+shout+ghost (if none were blocked >_<). When I am using sword/shield, it will be a little harder to kill me (very easy if I am on spear ), and it will take longer for me to kill if I am not dead...

I think if with similiar gear, it is a matter of who know what they are doing... I don't just stand there to have a melee pvp., that's not what a nuker for.

glaive! im int s+s they the kill me most often of the str chars. glaive fights are fun they dont last that long and it can go either way, well at cap with full alchemy, b4 that int's get owned all day >.< full alchemy = 1 deadly int tho ^^ bladers are jsut a huge pot fight, i think u will nvr kill them unless you get extremly lucky with no blocks and no kd's to interupt ur dmg but gl with that. bows = lol now tho, b4 they were decent at killing ints but now with ironwall they lsoe any advantage they had, once the int gets in their face they are sure to die sooon with skills that take forever to charge up and ahve no status they are easily interupted and ahve lower hp then glaive and less def then blade bb bow =x

Glaive users can kill ints pretty fast if they know what they're doing, or if they stun or crit. Glaive users are a pain to deal with when pvpin', especially when you're lacking in the hp department as a pure int. But then again, you got the luxury of them not having block and a lower defense, so you can be pretty sure you can do more damage over time than if you were fighting a blader.
