I've been playing sro for a while now,

and I am planning to do a hybird sword nuker with int2:str1

I was just wondering if anyone can give me some info and pointers on the build

and answer some question i have

1. What's the advantage / disadvantage of the build? both in PvE and PvP?
2. What skills to use and what mastery lvl?
3. If I were to PvP what moves shoud i use?
4. Is this build even a fesible build?
5. What other precautions should I take when fighting with this build?

Any other comments will help as well,

and please don't start a war on what's the best build, i just want to know more about Hybird Sword nuker

Thanks lots

1. What's the advantage / disadvantage of the build? both in PvE and PvP?
Advantages: You get a shield to block a lot of shit. Comes in VERY handy in tight situations. I promise, a block will save you life.
You get KD & Stab. Just like blocking, KD will save your life also. Triple stab = teh seks.
You can nuke and tank at the same time. Especially with good gear.
HP + BR + KD will keep you alive a lot longer than pure int.
Bicheon is the only build that can hold *TWO* SOS items in hand (not counting rings). :D
Disadvantages: You won't hit as hard as a spear user.
You won't hit as hard as pure int.
You don't have the range of an archer.
You still can't beat pure str chars w/o awesome gear.

2. What skills to use and what mastery lvl?
Get all nukes if all you want to do is deal damage. Cold tree is optional, imo. Force tree is good if your guild/union needs ressers and harmony circles. It was a very tough decision for me to give up my res and harmony series for Cold.
Get all buffs from Fire, Light, Cold/Force. Except Flame Body Series. That's for str chars.
Get KD, Stab, 5-hit Chains, & Sword Dance
Don't get lion shout or smashing series. Blade force series hits harder than lion shout. You can always get both, however. But if I had a to choose, i'd pick blade force series over lion shout. Smashing series is the weakest attk. You just don't need it.
At lvl 80, i'm planning on havine 80/80/80 Fire, Light, Cold and 60 Bicheon. Play around with that if you like.

3. If I were to PvP what moves shoud i use?
Nukes, you silly goose.
Whatever doesn't die in 2 nukes, you're either screwed already or just use KD & stab. If KD doesn't work (and you're still alive for some reason) then chain their ass. If KD does work, stab. Repeat.

4. Is this build even a fesible build?
Yes. Very much so.

5. What other precautions should I take when fighting with this build?
PVE - you'll be fine. Because of my HP, I keep my autopots on 40% for silver monsters. Compared to 70% for a pure int friend of mine.
PVP - You'll beat most pure int if they don't kill you in 1 hit. Pure str is hard. At lvl 40, i fought a lvl 41 pure str glavie and we just got into a pot war. Granted, he used less pots than I did, but I still couldn't kill his ass. This seems to happen a lot against str chars (higher and lower lvl). For other int hybrids, its whoever gets he best nukes.

Any other comments will help as well
Gear. It's all in the gear. Whoever has the best gear wins.

Since The Character is 2int:1str wouldn't lion shout hit harder than Blade Force?

Also If the Character is to get Blade Force, whould Flame body help?

many thx

I think the whole point of making a s/s is to go pure int, because the lack of HP is made up by having a shield to block things,If I were you I'd consider going 3/1 or 4/1 ratio opposed to 2/1.

I honestly don't think you will do enough damage with nukes later on to be any threat in pvp.

2:1 int hybrid s/s is a build that can "tank" but also do "heavy damage". sure in player versus environment you could consider adding nukes, but in pvp you'll NEVER EVER use them.

kd/stab only build with pvp, can tank more then pure int spear and does way more damage then pure str blader.

good build overall, but as with every build in this svck game it ALL comes down to GEAR.

No. I have a int heavy hybrid char and my Balde Force hits harder than lion shout. Don't ask me why. That's just how it is.

Yes, technically, Flame Body should help. But from my own personal tests, it doesn't. And if it does, its not significant enough to justify the SP. I'm not getting it for my hybrid char until i'm fully farmed.

I'm not sure if 1:2 deals enough damage to kill someone,i'm 1:3 and i think its the best way,at lvl 80 1:3 gonna have over 10k hp,and over 100% mag balance.

If you want to test out some builds, use this calculator its the best one i know.

sword dance? i don't think that would work for int/int hybrid cahrs. i supposed it'a only to draw mobs in for str users who dun have much range (i.e. bladers, who else?) don;t get them.

after KD stab, i use nukes instead of chains, chains allow blocks and damage is distributed across a longer period of time, meaning, more time for pots or more time for shield users to block. if my nuke gets blocked, then i just circle back to my KD's. i only use chains on same level pvp's for show.

it's a very feasible character. bes tthjing about it is that you can choose your own way to improve. can't tank same level? add str to your stats. don't do much nuke damage? add int to stats. that is of course aside from alchemy. i'm personally thinking an int with 90% mag bal is very good, im building my cahr to that bal.
