Sword Shield Int Nuker Need Pro Advise

Post by longlost »

ive read a lot of thread...but it seems im still obscure on how to build a sword shield int hybrid. This is wat im planning at the moment for cap level of 300 total mastery:

1)Bicheons = 80
2)Fire =150
3)lightning=70
4)physical balance=80% magical balance = 93% 1 str:2 Int

from this u can see that ill use my fire as main attack then second will be the bicheon skills like KD+Stab and more..( i don quit remember wats the skill name is)

so my question is:

1) is my build above can be consider a very good build compare to this build?:

a) Heuksal = 60

b)Fire =150

c)lightning=90

d)physical balance=80% magical balance = 93% 1 str:2 Int

2) ill start my attack with fire nuke, then KD+Stab as a finishing moves, does it a really good combo?..or lion shout is a better combo?...

3) pls take note on the Bicheon series = 80, i take it higher then lightning cuz im going to use this as a second skill after nuking..its for the dmg increases..so wats ur comment..is it good or bad?..

4) i think that with a magical balance of 93%, ill still can do insane dmg, and at a 1 str:2 int ratio, i can still tank and give a decent finishing blow with KD+Stab plus ive a higher survival chances bcuz of max shield series. wat do u thing of this in terms its a good build?, or a worst build?, or decent build? or dont ever build this type?

ive a total of 150k sp (3 month at bandit archer everyday using GT card, 3hours play only), so im very in need of a good build now..pls help and pls don say its based on my preference and bla bla bla...ive really need an experience player that sees a similar kind of build i described..and comment on it..is it good or bad..

additional info i add here...im going to use this method of killing for PVE and PVP also..tq hope anyone could reply soon..

lvingl with 0 gap till 70..ill have 40k sp more..then i need to farm that 30k sp later..lol

1st. Dont plan for lvl 150 skills just yet. Unless you will be playing this game 10 years from now.

man im nearly full farmed...so i wont play 10 years..after this it takes me about 2 month from 16-70 believe me..i got needed sp to reach lvl70 without a skill gap all my skill will be at full level at my char level..see?...so after this the game will be opening its gap slowly...so i wont have a prob..becuz i will not farm hard like others who farm late..and have trouble or even get bored.cuz cant kill anything in fast rate, u don have enough sp, ur weak, then u cant kill anything fast..u get bored, u quit..thats why i farmed first..better to feel pain now rather then later... then even so..if i don have enough good reply..then maybe ill stay a month more..to reach 210k sp then..this game just opening about a year now..so it will last long..believe me..

Its not how long that you will be actually playing...its how long joymax will bring lvl 150 skills to isro, which would be 10+ years from now looking at how far its progressing atm. =/

What he means is that you might have gotten bored after farming and not actually level the character and miss out. But really don't plan for level 150 gap because
1.By the time Joymax makes it to 150, we'll all be either dead or dying.
2.It screws up your build design for now.

Plan for 80 cap, if you plan for 150 your gonna suck once you reach 80 (if you make it) because your saving tons of mastery levels while everyone else is spending them. So you can either have fun sucking at 80 for 10+ years waiting for the cap that probably won't ever come, or you can just plan your build for 80, get there, have fun, quit, then play guild wars...err I mean level another character!

er who is saving what man?..the 200k+sp is just for cap level 80 lor..we need to plan forward...how do u know its 10 years a head?....u and i wouldnt know that..and usually MMORPG wont last for around 10 years man..around 3 years i think its already at full cap...

well my point is im using all the skill points for 200k+sp to lvl 80, but planning for full level is important why?...cuz u have 300 max mastery. if im not planning well..i will not balance my skill ratio and at that time im really sucks man..

I tend to agree with Ell. Focus on getting to the current cap of lvl 80. When the cap goes to lvl 90, just delevel some skills, and raise some others. That way you will not weaken yourself now for a lvl 150 cap that may never come. The cost of deleveling really isn't that big of a deal.

My current 90% KD nuker build plan is:
80 fire
80 lightning
70 force
70 bicheon
Numbers have been rounded to the nearest 10; might be that not all is needed, or that I'll add a few points here, and remove some elsewhere to reach certain skills. I'll deal with a lvl 90 cap when it arrives.

I wouldn't bother with heuksal for a 2:1 hybrid btw. I'm 90% and I don't even bother with it ever since they added the alchemy. With 4-5 str on each piece of equipment and 3*400 HP the game's quite survivable without using points from your mastery cap on heuksal.

Btw, has anyone noticed that the highest res capability is lvl 79? Must suck to make it all the way to the cap. ;)
