Whats powerful enough?

I've found that my ability to grind isn't what it needs to be,So i ask whats powerful enough..I know this is a totally subjective question but whats a good balance for someone that can farm a little here and there?

I now know i can't farm 100+k @ lvl 16 maybe not even for the entire life of the char...That being said If i can take my 30k from 16 and say another 20-30k @ 24 and maybe 20-30k in my 50's will this be a char that can hold her own? I have no need or want to be the best just able to come away with a few wins in my higher lvls... She's a str/fire/bow BTW

Do i want a million SP? Of course we all do but i refuse to cheat @ anything and don't have the time or will to SP farm for months on end...ppl. say you'll be happy you did it later and i understand that but to grind as much as some say then the game is 90% work and then what you quit?So maybe i am questioning the game..This is comming from someone new to the game so i expect to get a flame for this i was just curious on anyones thought about this...

I am fortunate that i have a cpl friends playing with me and that helps to pass time some what while grinding and as we are pretty much doing the same things we can help each other and even have our own battles...But you always want to step out at some point and If you didn't get 300k SP will you just be so dissapointed you will quit? lmao

Maybe someone with a lot of time in this game has some better insight..My thoughts are that someone with too much free time and the ability to grind all day for months has to be a small %...now i'm not counting botters but that would put me @ about average i guess with the majority...I would think everyone does a little SP farming but then again i don't know...Anyways it's really sad i'm proud of the 30k i got @ lvl 16 and that just seems to be a drop in the bucket....end of rant...thx

BTW i wanted to add if there are any nice folks playing on Sparta or want to play on sparta we have a really nice group of newbs that play a very coop game...So we are all looking for things for each other and would be happy to help anyone interested in starting a new char on Sparta...Just wanted to add that...Game name :Sasha

hey dude those who can farm 100k-200k are actually botters just to let u noe.its not possible to farm for 100k-200k for few months even normal humans will get bored.and if u notice those who farm at lvl 16 and got a lot of SP does not talk.

hahaha I bet you have never farmed at lvl 16? They are not bots. When you sp farm there you wanna focus on sp farming not talking. And people usaly use the F12 function when doing so. So that is why they dont see if anyone is talking to them unless they stand besides them. I have never seen a bot sp farm. I dont know if it is possible.

wel i'm new and i see bots sp farming all the time.As for humans doing it you have to have absolutly no life whatsoever to farm that much but thats just my opinion...

Do not worry, you can farm but indeed it will be boring you will not enjoy the game.

I work with a gap of 4 to 5 and thus I level and have enough points to fill most of my books at lvl 42 I had already 175 mastery skill points and most books up to those levels full.

I think its better than farming because now I can play, trade , hunt a low lvl thieve ( or one of my level) and do guild wars with my guild.
Thats certainly more fun than sp farming

Jealous words from the jealous underfarmed/unfarmed. Naively and enviously unacknowledging what others worked hard for, because he could not achieve it himself.

200k is easily achievable in 2 months with GT at lvl 16.

Im a bit noob myself, only lvl 16 (farmong for like 5-10k, not more, dont flame me), on sparta and it would be nice if I could join. Im from Sweden and speak quite good inglish, what timezone are most of you from?

in order to be strong, you need to farm, either at highest lvl gap which is at later stage or farm 4-5 gaps or early farm...

there are many people choose to farm early is because of the bandit archers' spawn time, it's incredible fast! you will never have time to pick up ya gold.

or you can farm at blood flower, or ishade... but there are more bots there, if your a full str player, then i suggest to farm early because full int player can 1 nuke kill flower

Just play to have fun don't make the game your second job (if you have a first). Anyways 30k is fine, usually 100-200k is for pretty hardcore people. Heh i farmed about 3.5k at 16 :roll:

and then zero gapped to 32 and now Im probably gonna have to farm at 42 or 52 where SOS weapons cost like 30mil++ :banghead:

I am going to make a farming character, only have collected 3 items so far, the bow (a lend from a friend) SoS +3 9 crit, cheap SoM hood lvl 12 ('only' 800k) and Sos+1 Ring (I'm collecting tablets to add some more str/int on them) I can afford myself a little bit.
Although I am going without GT, I'll be farming till I have 200k SP (and I'll change to my 'normal' playing char when I get bored farming) So ~ 4-5 months min. and I'll be done farming.

But I think in the end it will be worth it. Full int (or 90% I guess in the end) so far. The character is now 'only' lvl 13 and I'll start soonish in stronghold. So I also dont think that there are bots only who do this. Time will tell ... When I'm done or have accieved some milestones I'll make a screenshot for you all.

Actually the time i was i the Den @ lvl 16 it was mainly ppl. with a few bots...ppl. are worse than the bots when it's busy there...If you're not 1 shot killing they're all over your spot most of the time and that will burn you out faster than the grind it self....

My hats off to anyone who can deal with that for 4 months....I would usually go as long as i could then i'd kill black tigers for lvl 16 drops for a day...take a day off the game and then grind a day...But thats just me...

BTW do i want Fire shield or Fire Protection? hmmm or both?

Yeah it is possible to farm that much and maybe some of them are bots but a lot of them are not plus go to the hold and i bet most of them will talk well on the Athens server they do atleast.

You stupid for thinking that when you 1 hit you get get 3k in 3 hours easily with a 100% xp card so dont say they dont got a life because most farmers only are on for the time they for the 100% xp helper then they get off. I know there are a lot of people that play for more then 3 hours a day...

And LuCiDiTy is right most of them use the f12 function because it makes it easier to attack people fast.

Sounds like a plan; i'm getting ready to farm another char at the stronghold too....super defense items are nice, but not mandatory...just go for max blues on everything and make sure you have an SOS BOW (som +3 or better on full int ftw) - you won't get hit much at all anyway...

Well not sure i see any reason to call me stupid for my opinion...But as far as Sparta unless you have the ideal setup and the ideal conditions...e.g. you in the Den not surrounded by 40 other ppl.The i say i'd like to see you pull 3k SP...

3 hours a day 7 days a week thats almost an entire day a week on the game,Almost 50 days out of an entire year...Thats If you only play 3 hours and leave...Thats a big chunk of time to be sitting on your arse...

Well i dont know about ur server but there is not 40 people in the hold. Well atleast not on athens, most of the time there will be 7 or maybe a little more and if ur 1 hitting most people just stay away from you and farm somewhere else.
