So hard, switching from glavie to blade or not.

So, I've been thinking. I'm currently level 69 and farming SP. I really like using my glavie but with all the CCF'ing going on it's really hard to fight with all those people using (sos) +7 or +9 weapons.

I got to think that maybe it would be cool to switch to blade, you get a hell off alot more defence from the shield making it harder for them to kill you (I won't be able to kill them with my blade, but neither can I with my glavie). Since the cap will be 80 later on a str will have even more HP, leaving me to think if even a pure str glavier kan still kill other pure str's by themself (since there's so much HP to knock off).

the only thing that concerns me is that I really won't be able to kill anyone (lol) when using a blade (max I can afford will be a +5).

Now I know this game isn't meant for 1 vs 1 but hey, I sometimes hunt by myself or do a multi * trade by myself so it is an important apsect imo.

I hear some people say that a blader can kill easilly and others say they can't. Now I'm not really interested in storys of people in full sos gear saying they can not be killed, but I am interested in storys of "normal" people. :P

What do you guys think? Will a blader be able to own with their KD / stab or not at all? Will a glavier still be able to own later on, or not?

Thanks. :)

ive stopped playing on my lvl 70 glaive and started farming in the sh to make a str blade build...

bladers can kill if they have awesome weapons... if not theyre just uber tanks.

phunky, a glaiver who switched to blade at 70, can pwn 7-8 botters fully sos'd at the same time @_@.. of course he's just supernaturally powerful... but still, cant wait to feel invincible lol.

I think i'll switch (I've seen more people switch recently btw). But i don't feel like spending 50 euro on silk or 30 mill on gold lol.

It's too bad you can't see how much gold it will cost exactly, I'm gonna see how far i'll get if I can delevel half with silk and the rest with cursed hearts or something.

you'd regret going blade, without that +7/sos on you really don't do any damage... i remember my 60 glaiver tanking 64+ blades without much trouble, i even managed to kill one when i was lucky with crits ;p

yes you can tank like a beast... but what good is that?, if u want to go blade you NEED a high + sos

stick with galvie cuz of 80 cap, kd will be less effective for bladers, so you wont be able to kill even more. Atleast get to 72, and if u still dont like galvie, and if bladers are doing better, then switch.
