A lightning Full str bow.. My friends say its horrible. i just want to know your opinion. i dontthink it would be BAD!.. maybe not the best. But i dont think its bad

your friends are right >.< bow'sdmg are extremly low and fire is the more important three for str build

imo lightning seems ok.. lightning does lower the parry ration which makes you have higher damage.. and as far as i know bows have high attack rating which gives them a better chance of giving higher damage i think.. (not sure if thats what attack rating do and also with parry)

i dunno lets see what the others have to say

Bow with fire imbue>bow with lightning imbue because fire does more damage and also any affects by either would be potted off immediately. Lightning imbue is also sometimes annoying in that it aggroes mobs(when you don't want them aggroed). It certainly wouldn't be bad but as long as you go pure strength any imbue would be ok.

HAHAHA! That must be the joke of the day.

NO other str build can do higher damage than a fully farmed sos+7+9 archer.


Now on topic, its an intresting idea.

Now keep in mind its only 1 extra skill youre investing extra (if youre getting every buff in the game)

So if you decide you dont like it you can always delvl it (lightning imbue) or maybe just get two so you can play around a bit?

For grinding i think it would be pretty sweet if you have good defense. Since it will attract multiple mobs and even reduce their parry basicly every time you fire arrow combo. When they are ganging you due to splash damage you then nail them all with explosion arrow which has aoe

It might be good for pvp aswell, since youre gonna deal some pretty heavy arrows each time you struck in a parry reduce hit.

However i would advise you to get both fire and lightning imbue, since a lot of people at 64+ are immune to EVERYTHING. Which will make fire the overall better "pvp" imbue.

After hitting a guy who's immune to lightning for a bit youre gonna notice if he aint using any pills, and you can simply switch to fire imbue in your quickslot

try fire bow.

you would do just fine with the lightning imbue as long as you kept fire lvled up for the passive/dmg increase buff ( you do very much need those )
