Natural Therapy Series, Passives and Skill Cap

So, I just did a little work with the character builder and i realized I won't have enough skill cap to do everything. I WAS planning...

70 Bicheon
70 Fire
60 Lit
40 or 50 Cold
63 Force (for max therapy)
and other assorted areas for the different passives.

OBVIOUSLY this won't work at all.

I am an int hybrid using sword and shield with fire. I really want 70 bicheon and 70 fire. Cold is not that important to me (i might drop it even more, but i want the passive). BUT i like to use Natural Therapy (a lot!). According to mmosite.com, I'll need lvl 63 force to get the highest needed therapy (stops lvl 73 mobs).

My question is...How many high lvls really have room and the need for natural therapy?

Now, for passives. Some may be more important than others, but they're all useful, imo. Right now I have ALL passives. I don't want to lvl Heuksal and Pacheon too much and take away from lit, fire, and bicheon. What lvl should I not worry about passives anymore? Or should I get rid of what i've invested in pacheon and heuksal right now?

[edit]And what about cold? For those that don't focus on cold, is it really necessary to have?

Unless you plan to thief *a lot*, I'd not bother with therapy series.

I have it maxed atm on my char and I use it soley for thieving. If I need to go afk, I'll just warp to town (+, it doesn't stop giants and champs, so can't be afk too long). For trading, it's good to have if you are doing a big run and everyone needs to stop and take a break, but that isn't often.

There are 2 main uses for therapy for thieving:
1. Popping
2. Lazy Scrolling

For popping, you just sit somewhere and let your NPCs rampage everyone near. Of course you are a sitting duck for that 5 mins its cast, but you can use that as a "base" and return there after you pop other traders and get more loot.

For "lazy scrolling", let's assume you have a good 4-5* load. You will be spawning some really though NPCs, reds and oranges. Any build you will have trouble with. I'm str and I have to be really careful b/c JM likes making me spawn 3+ cold bladers. The idea is though, find somewhere safe, cast therapy, and wait for your scroll:) If you cast scroll first and then therapy b4 that next spawn, you will be safe the entire time, scroll is about 5 minutes too.

The only thing you have to worry about are the champs that you might spawn. Those are the only ones though, don't run out to fight it! Just let the others disappear, then take it on if it's a archer outside of the circle. If it's in the circle, make sure you don't do a AOE attack that will aggro the others near.

The best payoff is of course when you do double spawn with that 4-5* load. You'll just be sitting there, the area around you is a minefield :D

Aside from that, there's no other big use of therapy that makes it worth having. Res is good in that series, as well as the heal and the status cure, but not used much.

I have decided to use item mall to take away all my force, I'm thinking about making a blader rather than a glaiver, so I need all the SP for cold as well. Cold isn't going to be my main imbue, but I want to be a real tank :) For my level, I'm in the 45-50 range to give you an idea of the experiences I've had.

Thx for the reply.

And yes, i will thief a lot. I'm lvl 2 thief right now and i'm sure that i'm gonna thief A LOT more than trade or hunt. I'd prolly be lvl 3 thief if it weren't for guild trades.

I do use "lazy scrolling" as you call it. It's practically my only method of returning since i hate to risk getting killed by some high lvl hunter or trader. And 1* popping is really useless and way too dangerous right now as i'm only lvl 34.

BUMP^^

I didn't know i had more than 2 replies! Thanks. :)

But what about passives? Do you guys focus on all of the passives or just the ones in your main skills? If you have all passives, what lvl are they sitting at?

Actually, xtra MP for a pure str char is more needed than xtra HP
All of the str points give a helluva lot of HP, but almost no MP in comparison.

[edit]Which reminds me...I was once in a Tiger Girl party and one guy decided to buff up (i don't know his lvl). I think he had weak guard of ice, flow-piercing force, flame body wisdom, fire protection, and maybe concentration and fire shield force. I watched his MP bar as he buffed, and he didn't have enough MP to buff completely w/o using an MP pot. I asked if he was pure str and he told me he was str hybrid. So yes, xtra MP is very much needed for str chars.
Whereas I can buff up totally (i have all buffs + hawk) and use harmony therapy and not even reach half of my MP.
