PvP bow idea. . JUST an idea. . .

Would this build work? a fire imbued pure str bow user w/ both ice wall and fire wall maxed.

the idea in pvp is to put up both walls by the time the opponent gets to you, then light up flame imbue and spam skills till dead XD the walls should hold up all sorts of damage, therefor the archer doesn't have to waste time in between skills running away.
another idea to use against bladers (coz I think that knockdown will still take effect through the walls) is to use ice imbue. for the 2-handers this will also slow them down if they rely on stunning.

just wanna know if this will work b4 i start it! thx in advance for *intelligent* remarks and constructive criticism 8)

Yes it would work brilliantly, if you did it correctly. I know someone who is doing the same thing. Just try and adapt yourself to killing one or two types of people however. Otherwise you'll just be weak.

i know this guy in oasis doing this(without the firewall) and he was lvl 70 and he was battling a lvl 70 the ice wall didnt last long.. but thats a pretty neat idea you have there.. archers would be cool if they had a knock back skill and you can stay in position with fire and ice wall 8) you will be untouchable.. :P

you're pretty sure? can anyone validate this?

a knockback skill for a bow skill would be nice, . . but give it a sem-long cooldown so it can't be spammed coz that would be cheesy.

u cant use both wall at the same time^^.

but even one wall can help ya sometimes in pvp if u doin hit-and-run tactics ;-)
yes it is gone almost in one hit but that often gives you enough time for re-pot or another nuke...

It's usually gone in one hit because no one ever levels it up, so it's just a puny lvl 1 skill.

I'd imagine a maxed out fire/ice wall could resist quite a lot though..

Maxed walls don't hold up well against sos +7 weps at the cap.

if you have a firewall up you cant be knocked down... but you can be
stunned (pretty sure)...

but if you have a maxed fire wall, it will take a str FOREVER to break it
(due to low magic damage)...

so aginst a blader... you can put a firewall and not get KDed and since we
have low magic damage that firewall will survive through alot! just ping
away our health and you should do very well... when the wall breaks...
just phantom before you get KDed and set another one up and repeat

and firewall would work very well aginst glaivers too because alot of
glaivers damage (alot not most) comes from its imbue... the firewall will
block the imbue damage... and itll be like the glaiver is fighting without it..
so if hes around your level you should have no problem tanking his
damage and since he has no shield you should be able to take him down
faster than a blader, except if he stuns but again im completly sure you
can get stunned with a wall up... either way you should be able to kill them
with some decent crits on your part...

and as for ints... they will one shot your wall... but you should be able to
one shot them too... lol

IMO bows can be good for PvP if you can stay away from your
opponent/KD/stun/KB... walls and phantoms help you do just that...

remember.. bows are capable of the most damage in the game!!!
(just look at our damage contest... i think billion is exempted)
