Well Im slowly working on making a pure str fire glavie. Im torn as to what forces to get. I will obviously get fire, and lightning for speed mostly and probably parry buff/passive. I wanted cold but im not sure if i should. So would anyone say cold is something i should invest in, and also should i bother with the magic buff from light. Since im str im not sure if it would be as important as with my nuker.

A lot depends on whether you farmed or not. If not, I would forgo Cold, because its effects aren't significant until the high levels. Same thing with the magic buff from Lightning. If you are SP conscious, don't invest so much in it. Later though, every bit of extra damage helps. So just up it when you farm.

if ur gonna get ice, get it o lvl60 or dont get it at all.

im keeping 5 level gap through out the game. But i hear if you dont plan to get ice high, dont bother. im thinking i could maybe get force on the side if i find 5 level gap gets a good amount of sp. i appreciate the comments, and i know what you mean, with my 60 everything helps

The magic buff adds on to your imbue, may aswell save up and get it.

yea I know. Embue does really add alot. so i will probably add it slowly if i find myself low on sp.

Im going for a INT fire spear/nuker. Im leveling with a 6 gap, and farming at key points. I did a 9 gap thru the bandits, and plan on farming again on the flowers later. I hope to get a good balance between getting xp and sp without runing out of sp later on, because farming bores me blind. Right now i have about 4k at lvl 23.

skip cold, chances are you won't get to 68 to see all of its benefits anyways

fire 70 (imbue, buff, fire protection, fire shield, passive), heuskal 70, lightning 68 (Grasswalk, piercing force, passive), bow (just for level 1 of the white hawk)

Meh i have had this guy for a while. I play it off and on. And i could go to the caves.....but i kill yeti faster so yea. but i may play this guy more slowly. is the white hawk that helpful? always see people with it.

Why dont you just use the SP calculator and tablet SP gained per lvl Vs. Gap and see how much you need SP and how much you need to keep the right gap

Well.. I'm a lvl 70 glaiver.. some people try to say ice is pointless for a str build.. It is not by any means pointless.

Get ice to lvl 60.. and Powerguard to lvl 7

fire 70, spear 70 ... The rest just do what you think is right

but as far as ice.. lvl 60 ice makes you take way less physical damage

oh im definately not saying its pointless. i know it is very useful. But to be only leveled to a certain degree it isnt. i dont think i would bring it to 60, or care to farm at this point for it. Later on if i really like this character i may get ice who knows.
