wrong... it enhances your magical damage and by that increasing imbue damage. It does NOT lower any stats or balances !

As pure STR the FIRE Flame Body Series might be more useful cos it increases your phys. damage,
but if you got the SP then skill Pierce as well.

Yup the dmg increase can be noticed only when you pumped enough for the pierce force

Even for a pure str it adds remarkable extra damage.

Perhaps if I break the question down, it will be easier for me to decide.

Does the imbue ADD attack on top of your physical attack?

Would the 7% of the piercing skill (And more later on) will be added to the imbue (which will then be added to my regular attack)?

If that's true, than that makes the decision much much easier.

Also, a bit off topic, but I'll ask here anyway. What do I look for in terms of attacking power from the skills? Let's say I have a skill which says that the attack is 103-115 (200%). What do those numbers mean? Is it 103-115 added on to my attack? Or is it my attack being raised by 200%?

First there is no such thing as 103-115 (200%). The % thing is the amount of % that is better than npc weapon. The value 103-115 is just the new value which after calculating 120/100*NPC weapon attack.

vulp, he's talking about a skill that says 103-155 (200%). The 200% is reffering to the time of casting and cooldown time, or so i think that is what it means. The 103-155 i guess you could say 'adds' on to your attack but I'm not really sure. Don't compare these numbers with anything other than other skills. If 2 skills say they are both 103-155 but there's a difference in %'age, the one with a higher % will be a more powerful attack.

think you read his question wrong, he's asking about SKILLS.
200%, i think, just means that it does 200% of your normal damage... i think. it's not always accurate though, and I don't know how they calculate it.

as for piercing force, ANY buff, no matter what your build, is going to rasie either your defense or your offense...
so they're worth it, get EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

if you have 500000000000000 SP, that is. ;)

worth it if u got loads of sp to spare
If you havent even maxed your other buffs yet, no way should u get it. Your mag balance is so incredibly low as a pure str that almost any other buff would be more useful. Only real example of some str build who would really need that buff is blader, cuz they need all the help they can get dmg-wise. :) Glaiver its useful and all, but I believe that you might as well spend your sp on maxing mag defence, grasswalk, and concentration.
