I'm a pure int sword nuker.
I want to have fun with the game, not just do the most damage, lol. So i was wondering, since I think the swords up to about Gem Sword look really gay, could I substitute the sword for a blade (im nearing 32)... as in, instead of the Lord's Sword, the Lunar Blade... would it really make that much of a difference? Because I have quite a bit of weapon skills also...

At lvl 52, im planning to use the Cornu Blade and at 62 or whatever the 8th degree is, im also going to use blade. Just because the sword doesn't look as cool as the blade, heh.

I'm going to get SoS+3 for the lvl 32 weapon, so I think I'll still be better than most players... just wondering if the difference is enough that I SHOULDNT do it?

Nukers are meant to deal damage. It's what they do. They don't live very long usually, so damage is essential. Why would you wanna take away from the point of your build just because blade looks better?

roflmao cuz i wanna have fun, and having fun means having a badass looking weapon.

it's not about the looks

actually killing people is way more fun than looking cool dead on the ground...

I tell you the difference is going to be great especially from 6 degrees onward. But since you say you wanna have fun and don't mind dying a lot of times, ok i support you

My suggestion is : if u dont have a SOS blade, use sword.

whats the point of holding a blade when you wont swing it?
your a nuker... you nuke... i think im going dizzy trying to process how thats fun...

if u like blade why didnt you make a blade build to begin with

Well im not at that level, but I do get what you mean. XD

You could probably change your weapon and still deal some good damage as a nuker, and have a look you want at the same time. ^_^

My opinion is, if you want to do it, then just do it. In the end it's what YOU want and not what other people think of you.

I dont think it matters. I was pure str and i was using a spear. I tested it against a glaive and the damage was still really close. Dunno if its the same for blade and sword though

Umm... If you don't like the look of the sword.. Use spear. It looks better, and does more damage (since you're a nuker.)

Umm I guess you could go hybrid and switch to blade but its still wierd In my opinion a pure str can pull off using a sword better than a pure int can pull off using a blade, reason being is that Pure ints are nukers and usually don't use combos like the pure str..well it makes since in my head

use a spear lol
