Hi, question about building a Healer. Str /Int Hybrid?

Post by Tempura-sama »

I started SRO not long..could have started it long ago but had to upgrade the PC first. And been playing other MMOs. >.<

I want to ask, can anyone give their view on hybrid str 2:1,3:1,etc and hybrid int 1:2, 1:3,etc. the good and bad about them..I've like restarted the char like 4 times already thinking what to be..and finally tot about being a Hybrid Healer with some other skills.

Also pls any advise on what weapon and skills I should concentrate on..I know there is a guide about healer by a member called Alfred but his guide did not explain stats and skill points placing..And so i just wana know better about both hybrid for a healer..be it battle Healer or Support Healer (still with some skills like weapons, fire, light, ice).

After looking into SuicideGirl int hybid guide, kitary sword int hybrid guide, Alfred healer guide and partyhat's int hybrid stat guide(anyone know where I can find or anyone know Str hybrid stats).

I was thinking about mixing them around..like Str 1: int 2 till lvl 10-11 than 12 onwards is Str 2:int 1 as many would say str for healer better..but this would be a Battle Healer already..what about a Support Healer.

Please give your view on my arrangements below. :)

Support-
Glaive/spear, Force, Ice, Light. For Support?
(Why Glaive/spear? Cos i was thinking of health passive skill.)
Bow, Force, Ice, Light. For Support?
(Why Bow with all spells? Cos i was thinking of back support.)
Bow, Force, Fire, Ice, Light. For Support?
(Why Bow with all spells? Cos i was thinking of back support, nuker, etc.)

Battle-
Glaive/spear, Force, Fire, Light. For Battle?
(Why Glaive/spear? Cos i was thinking of more dmg.)
Bow, Force, Fire, Light. For Battle?
(Why Bow? Cos i was thinking of low hp, better to hit 1st than get hit 1st.)
Bow, Force, Fire, Ice, Light. For Battle?
(Why Bow with all spells? Cos i was thinking of back support, nuker, etc.)

PS: Sorry for long winded...It looks more like a mini-Guide/review than a Newb asking simple questions.

Str Archers dont have low HP, its same as glaive and blades, but with no shield.

Glaive is more for STR, which gives more damage in regular attacks. Spear is for people who want to do alot of damage as a nuker. Bow is either STR Hybrid or Pure STR, not INT. Do you want to know why not INT? I'll tell you, its becuase already with bow, you have no shield to block, or get extra deff with, so you need as much STR for HP as possible. If your Pure INT Bow, you will get 2 Hited every battle. And lastly, they are already have long range attacks so nukes arent really going to help.

Why isn't Blade/Sword included into this Guide/Review of yours. Blades are very good once they hit lvl 68. Sword are best for PvP, as Nukers.

I was thinking about mixing them around..like Str 1: int 2 till lvl 10-11 than 12 onwards is Str 2:int 1 as many would say str for healer better..but this would be a Battle Healer already..what about a Support Healer.

Its not a Battle Healer, if you dont want it to be. They recommend STR for Healers becuase of more HP added. so go with 2 Str : 1 Int, and you will be good. You need as much STR Blues as possible to stay alive as long as you can to heal your freinds, and give support with some nukes since you add some into INT also. I recommend you get Sword/Shield for the extra deff, and block. and also use Protector since it gets more Phys def, then Garment, but more mag def, then Armour.

If any other questions, Ask away. :)
